  2. "...allows the weapon to be used as a spear." I don't think my drill Sargent would have been very happy with me if I had fixed bayonet, stood up and launched my rifle like a spear.

  3. Hey glass half empty guy....why don't you go out and do an act of kindness instead of being a buzz kill on one of the few positve threads. There are plenty of threads you would be right at home with your bitterness.

  6. Looks like Die Hard made sweet love to In The Line of Fire and Under Siege, and it's formulaic baby puked out a trailer that gave the entire plot away. In a world where a disgraced SS agent is blaming himself, it'll take one incredibly opaque villain to make him kick terrorist anuses. From the mind of the guy that wrote some other movie that wasn't particularly well received, and the artistic vision of a dude that worked on Michael Bay movies and loves explosions comes this Summer's biggest epic that will be in the $5 bin by Halloween.... Oh who am I kidding, I'll watch it.

  8. I dont know why but the greatest collection of nice and polite people are at the Troy YMCA. Everyone from the staff to the members that use it. It's borderline wierd.

  9. It is! Unfortunately, it's just very rare these days which is very sad. It's kind of like a little while ago when I went to the grocery store and as I was pulling into a parking spot, I saw a very elderly man unloading his groceries. When I got out of my car, I noticed 5 people walk past him as he was pushing his cart back towards the store with his trunk still open. That made me mad. I walked up to him and offered to take the cart from him, even though I didnt need a cart. He was very gracious for that. The smile on his face said everything.

  12. From a little research I just did I found the Hungarian PA 63 is the same gun except its chambered in 9x18 instead of .380 so parts could be interchangeable and I see everyone saying mags are interchangeable. Hope this helps.

  13. I have 2 rental houses so far and it has been a pretty good experience so far (2+ years). Both renters seem pretty stable and don't seem like they are going to be going anywhere soon. One consistently pays rent late, but with the added $10/day late fee, I am okay with it. Both have pets & kids. Go with your gut on the interview process. You will get probably get enough that you can be picky on who to choose. It is MUCH better to let it sit empty for a month rather than trying to hurry and fill it with somebody that you will regret. I can shoot you a copy of our lease agreement if you want to give it a look.

  15. Maybe you should put a clause in the lease that if their pet trashes anything in your house you get to eat said pet infront of them.

  17. If you want lease agreements I can give them to you. You'd just have to print them out. Expect that your house may get destroyed. I would NOT allow pets. You may have a dog who was properly trained, but your renters will not give a shit when their new puppy pisses all over your floors, or their kitty shreds your window blinds. Realize you are renting in a tough economy. My dad rents several houses and a small 6 unit apartment building. As he put it to me, if he did a credit check on all his renters, he wouldn't have any renters. Look at their overall cleanliness and car as others said. Do get references from past landlords, and do call them and ask about your potential renters. If you aren't capable of fixing/repairing problems that will come up, or don't have the time to do it, find qualified plumbers/hvac people ahead of time. I can give you a few references of people in mentor I have used that were given to me by a friend who rents multiple houses in the area.

  18. If all else fails, look at the car they drive, it will tell you how your house will look in a very short time! This is the first think I look at when they come to rent one of my property's IT"S TRUE check the CAR

  19. Do yourself a favor and sell the house. You have been warned and in three years you will come back here to tell me I was right if you don't. I was awarded a judgment against a renter last week for $3,000 because that's the maximum I could get in small claims court. The management company will be too expensive. Renting will expose you to loses you can't imagine plus if you work imagine having a second wife demanding your time with stupid shit. I have sued several renters for damages and won every time with a good contract but have NEVER collected any money. Sell, sell, sell
