  1. Yea. Then yesterday afternoon he removed his own catheter by himself. Metal.

probably mumbling and dropping f-bombs the whole time. "stupid damn dick tube, fuck this shit..."

  2. OK, well. Anthony apparently snapped out of things late last night and decided on his own he'd had enough of this shit and ripped out his own breathing tube. So, he's not on any sedation meds anymore and breathing on his own which means no trach at this time either. So here's to some good news! :)

    Yeah, that sounds about right

  3. Depends if it a Gen 3 or Gen 4. If its a Gen 4, it may very well make it to 1200 hp before it lets go.

Bingo. That and the tuning put into it makes a difference. I was very impressed with what could be done with that Terminator X setup. The wiring was simple, fired up and drove the first time, made multiple big power pulls on the dyno with no signs of issues at all.

Turned up and on a safe tune it will be 1,000 wheel no problem.

So, your setup with a 4.8 and halfway decent parts will be perfect for what you want to do. LS swaps are done because they work, are reliable, make good power, and aren't expensive.

  4. Just saw a bone stock 4.8 make 885 on the dyno with an 80mm turbo. When I say bone stock, I mean they gapped the rings for boost and that was it. Stock crank, rods, pistons, bearings and it was through a truck intake. All controlled by the new Terminator X.

So yeah, I would say a played out 4.8 lsx swap is a good choice considering how much they cost. What would it cost to make a stock Porshe engine make that power?

  5. They have said that they plan on offering it for other platforms soon, starting with Coyotes and Hemis.

Yep. I talked with the head of their Sniper EFI program about everything that's going on and coming. They are really ahead of the curve on all of this and how scalable it will be.

I can't talk about everything but I will say there is going to be a massive push with these systems that will change the engine swap game for every platform. There are some very smart people that work at Holley and the COMPCams group that are working on some really cool stuff. The next generation of FAST EFI is going to be pretty wild with what it has to offer too.

  6. The Temi X is an unreal value. As atuner, I cant tell you how many issues I run into due to old shitty wiring and connections. Not even a year ago people where paying over 1k for a nice harness. Now, you get a new harness, Stand alone ECU, and fuse box for $999. NUTS

We've got a few possible projects at work where the Terminator X might be used. Don't be surprised to see Holly roll this out for other engine platforms soon.

  7. Wags, I'd like to get the truck out to trails for a few runs. I'm assuming it'd be on the dd list? When can I challenge the last spot?

Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

You will need to call out the person who is currently in the lowest spot on the list you want to run. Since we aren't running this Friday you will either have to set up a time to meet them and race at Trails or wait until our next event.

  8. Appreciate that -- I think everyone is good as of now. We very much appreciate everyone.

If you need some non-hospital food smuggled in let me know. My boss will be back in the office Wednesday so I can sneak away if needed.

  9. I've been researching and haven't really seen anything to swing my view towards pellet stoves. My parents have a coal stove in their living room and it makes the lower level of the house as hot as satan's jerk shed.

From the looks of it I'll need the special chimney liner, topper, and the stove. It all looks pretty straight forward, but it might not turn out that way in real life vs install videos.

I've seen cost estimates anywhere from 1,200-5,000 to install one of these things so if I can do it myself that would be hella-better.

  10. Anybody have one here locally?

    How do you like it?

    Easy to install yourself?

I'm thinking about adding one to our fireplace to offset our propane rape. I would love to get one that can use wood or coal just not sure if anyplace locally sells this kind of stuff.

  11. It was mentioned in another thread, but year, make, model and et/trap speed would be nice to have with these. Thanks for doing this.

Added car info. Since this is now No Time there won't be any ETs posted.

  12. Wow, that's good to know. I live out in the country, but will definitely check first. Thanks...

I live in the country too but got a visit from the Franklin County Engineer over a 5-foot driveway addition. Pretty sure some busy body decided to report it based on the way the conversation went, and the fact he showed up less than 24 hours after Sam did the excavation work.

The reason I say something is because the exact words he used were "anytime a driveway is added or modified you have to have a permit."

Take that as you will but I would double check before you do anything. Guy down the road from me put a driveway in the county didn't like and they put a guardrail up around the end of it so he couldn't access it or use it. Great use of taxpayer money right there :dumb:

  13. So,

How did it go? Decent turn out?

Went fine and no, only 7 people showed up. I have the lists posted.

Honestly not shocked at the turnout, it is what it is. The hardcore racers showed up and had a good time, we gained a new member for the site and people had fun. Hell, Jim Rose showed up without out a car, paid to get in just to check it out and say hi.

The track was great to deal with and they want to help grow racing. I'm just happy the people who came out had fun and did some racing, that's what this is all about.

  14. Here are the current lists

  15.

Funny (not funny) how Trump can say something like "and they say..." before something incredibly stupid like "THE NOISE CAUSES CANCER", like that releases him from liability. Who is "they"? It wasn't his comment...he just was repeating what he thought he heard someone else say.

He's that drunk guy at the bar that says crazy stuff he saw back in the day, but he has access to the nuclear codes.

I still want to see him have a meltdown on camera, like full-fledged Britney Spears smashing a chair into a car meltdown.

  16. My wife is a recruiter at Kelly Services, and she hires Temp-To-Hire and Direct Hire positions.

You can check out what she's hiring for here: https://www.facebook.com/LeanneAtKellyServicesColumbusOH

Feel free to friend the page, as she posts new openings as they come in.

She's looking for maintenance technicians with PLC experience (hydraulics/pneumatics), electronic repair technicians (solid work experience at the component level, soldering). Both of these are Direct Hire positions. She has various other openings, as well.
