  1. 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4Door 4x4

    4.0 Inline-6 Cylinder

    AW4 Automatic Transmission

NP242 Transfer Case (Part Time or Full Time 4WD)

    Chrysler 8.25 Rear Axle

    Currently 93,000 Miles

$6200 OBO (I am negotiable on this)

The Jeep is located at my home in Minford, Ohio (45653). I am located ~90 miles directly South of Columbus, ~90 miles directly East of Cincinnatti.

If interested PM me here or e-mail me: impala63@bright.net

    Options:

Factory Towing Package, A/C, Power Windows, Power Locks, Keyless Entry, Power Mirrors, Cruise Control. Black Paint, Black/Dark Grey Interior.

    Only modifications done:

Rear tint, and a CIPA autodimming rearview mirror with compass and outside thermometer display.

For those of you who are familiar with the infamous "0331" cylinder head issue on 2000-2001 XJs, the problem has been long since fixed on this one. It was fixed the right way with a "0630" conversion and adapter plate for the 2 piece manifold. Absolutely ZERO expense spared. I will include all documentation of this with it.

There are 2 or 3 very minor dings on the Jeep. One on the hood about the size of a quarter(very hard to see, need to be in the right light), one on the drivers side rear door right below the window if I remember right(about the size of a BB), and the rear bumper has a few scuffs from previous owners use of the towing hitch. I never put any of these blemishes on it, I bought the Jeep like this.

No rust on this Jeep anywhere. I would not have bought it if it was rusty. The Jeep has absolutely NO mechanical issues. I would trust to drive it anywhere, any distance, and any length of time needed. I keep the oil changed every 3K miles with Wix Filters and Pennzoil. The tires are in awesome shape and I keep them rotated. All fluids are clean, fresh, and not leaking.

This Jeep is enthusiast owned and I REALLY do not want to sell it. I have no choice. I am in college now and the round trip to and from is killing me in fuel. I have an 88 Beretta(beater) that I drive daily now, but the cost of it and the Cherokee together are pointless because I rarely drive the Cherokee anymore. I'm looking to rid of the Cherokee and the Beretta for one car.

  2. It seems that nothing really suits you so therefore modify what you have and be done. With a $30K budget, I say put about 10K into your 1G for performance and suspension, drive your Civic for a DD, and then invest the other 20K into something that will keep some extra money in your pocket.

    Problem solved.

  3. nice to see another 1g out on the track having fun...as already stated..its not what you drive or how fast you go..just have fun!!!

    +1.

I may get my pile of shit back together hopefully before the end of the year. I'd like to get it to the track to see what sorta times I can squeeze out of it.

  4. It sounds to me like you are into electronic music. You can do a lot with electronic music. I highly recommend getting a Mac if you plan to get serious with it. You could start learning programs such as MaxMSP or Logic. I suggest starting out on GarageBand(Mac only...I think) and working up to Logic. Max is VERY detailed and requires a lot of time.

10sec93, it's a shame that I dont live in Columbus. I fit the requirements and am decent on bass :D

  5. Honda Fit with a K-Swap!!!

Trust me, if I had the funds it would be happening already. I can only afford one or the other. I am just looking for a decent daily driver to replace my 2000 Cherokee. Ideally, I would like to buy a Fit and swap it once it is paid off. I likely will, but the swapped EK is still tempting.
