Thank you. I really am surprised that it hasn't sold. I sold my bicycle frame last night so as soon as the CBR sells I'll be ready to go shopping.I don't even need it, but if I had 2300 on hand right now I'd own it anyway

I am still very interested, just waiting on this damn guy to pay me for the work i did for him last month!
Got to love people like that.

Dannggg it! Why do you have to tempt me like this... Do you know what weight rider the suspension is sprung for? Is the frame and subframe straight?
Frame is straight, subframe not so much. Front is sprung for someone in the 200-220 range. The rear is sprung for someone in the 160ish range. I just had the front springs replaced but Vesrah didn't have the rear spring that I needed at the time.

If someone off of here or the Junkies site wants it I will sell it for $2,300 to avoid paypal and ebay fees. Have to let me know pretty soon though.

My favorite video from riding the CBR.

Come on guys and gals, don't make me pay the eBay fees.

Got bored so I gave it a bath and took a few pictures.

About time!
I'll even go pick it up for you this weekend and hide it from Cathy
Come on down, I'll even meet you half way.

Real nice guy, 68 years old. He is going to try to sell one or two of his bikes then if I still have it he wants it.
-
I saw you contact info on the other post.forward it to potential buyer .
Thank you. I have a guy coming to look at it in an hour or so. If he doesn't buy it I'll let everyone know. Bowdog, if you want message me your number and I can just text you instead of messaging you once I know.

another thumbs up on this thing.
I sold my 2003 for only marginally less money, and mine was in a bit worse shape, with no front suspension work beyond springs and heavier oil. The only thing my bike had that this one doesn't is a gear indicator.
It was still a rock-solid bike even after I sent it cartwheeling through the grass. I even like the paint scheme on this bike. I'd be seriously tempted if I weren't about to spend several hundred dollars on roofing supplies tonight
Thank you. The gear indicator is the only thing I removed. I'm most likely need it on my next one.

If I was in the market for a trak bike, I'd snap this up.
Thank you, I appreciate it. Looking around I really think this is a really good bike for the price.

PM me if you end up sitting on it for awhile (probably not likely at that price, but just in case)... I may be able to help you move it.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

Well the bike is still available. The guy wasn't able to come up with the cash at this time.
-
Have one guy interested. He is going to let me know this evening if he has the funds.

Forgot to mention, feel free to call, text, or e-mail.

Thanks for all the comments. I want to be as fair and honest as I can be about the bike. After all, I will most likely be riding with the bikes next owner.

Sharkskinz fairings, not snakeskinz. Oops.
-
I don't believe so. At least it wouldn't be easy.

Up for sale is my 2004 CBR600RR track bike. This bike is built pretty well and it runs great. The odometer shows around 7,000 miles, I'll look this evening to get the exact number.
I am asking $2,600. It will be bill of sale only since the bike was never titled. I'll be happy to give you the VIN number to verify. When I purchased it I called the shop the original owner purchased it from, I called my local shop to run the VIN, and I had a state cop buddy run the VIN. I'm not risking buying or selling anything stolen.
First off, yes the bike has been crashed. It is a track bike.
The good:
Ohlins rear shock
Thermosman modified front shock, I don't know the details
Ohlins steering damper
Stainless brake lines
Vortex Clip Ons
Shogun Frame Sliders
Vortex Sprockets (-1, +2)
DID 520 chain
Spools - no name
Shorai lithium battery
Jardine Headers
Micron Exhaust
Snakeskinz fairings
Vortex rearsets
Safety wired
The bad:
Fairing stay is broken and needs welded (aluminum). I've been riding it like this for two months or so.
Front pads are shot. Good news is I ordered new EBC Double H pads yesterday.
Front forks need oil change.
I am in the Charleston, WV area but will drive a couple of hours to meet a serious buyers. There are plenty of people on this forum that have seen the bike and can vouch for it / me.

A lot of people switch them. I have been riding motorcycles and bicycles for years and I have never gotten the brakes confused. It's probably just because I'm so awesome though.
