  1. The location of the distributor doesnt matter at all. All that matters is that the #1 plug wire is on the terminal that the rotor points towards when the motor is at TDC on the compression stroke of the #1 cylinder. The rest of the wires just need to follow the firing order of the cam.
  2. fuck long tubes on a 2v..just went thru that shit..... not if you have to change the clutch ever. that or your bell housing unbolts..then its not so bad.

With a lift it is easy, the k-member is off in 20 minutes, pop the headers off, temorarily put the kmember back on, do the clutch, and repeat.

  3. I have alway thought a 3rd position (switch) for closed idle open at wot whould be cool (like the saleen mufflers did). also the weight of the motor may cause the v-bad to rotate down causeing ground clearance issues.

They make them. We tuned a mark VIII a few weeks back that had cutouts that opened only at WOT with some electric controller.

  4. The 7/16 studs hurt it, but you cant drill to 1/2" or it just distorts the block. Most guys dont have issues, but the GT40's have a thin deck which distorts. Keep conservative on the timing and it should be fairly rich at that boost level. If all is good and they keep lifting, get some AFR 165's and a dart/world block and call it a day.

The TV works good, I replaced the bulb about a year ago. The only issue is that it has a dark stripe about 2" wide on the left side of the screen. It doesnt really get in the way and the picture is still great otherwise.

$330 with the stand. I can take all major Credit cards as well.

  6. if someone else owes money on it, its not your problem.

and plus one on the John Sharpe thing.

Yeah, it is. If he pays the guy for it and it turns out MAC owns in and they find it, MAC gets first right to the box (They take it) and he would be out the money.

    Call MAC and find out.

  7. Gut on ohio hondas wrote a Novel about how they screwed him over 3 times with the same motor then took it to phillips and they ended up fixing the final issues. Another person had a similar issue with there sleeves sinking and them not fixing the problem (motor wasnt installed).

There are ALWAYS 2 sides to a story, one guy on one forum with a story doesnt make a shop bad.
