  1. The Free Supercharging is actually an RPO code (SF1) so thankfully that stuck. The P.O. (who was big in the GM 3800 scene as Bucky realized yesterday:lol:) is a huge tech nut who said that YES, if an owner sells/trades their car back to Tesla, some features are disabled. I sat in his driveway in Chicago before I drove it home, FaceTimed my wife and we were able to transfer the Model S over to my wife through Tesla. Took the 19” snow tires off and installed lowering links with the 21”s. This is a turrible pic late yesterday but it looks siiiiiick in person. “Ludicrous” and “Ludicrous+” are available, but honestly haven’t done anything hard except for some rolling launches and highway pulls.
  2. LOL I’m gonna beep boop beep and drag your ass all around 270. :burn:
  3. …and it’s a Tesla for my wife. She’s wanted one for a long time and I was looking for the perfect options list. Having free Supercharging for life is starting to make sense with gas going up up up. 2014 Model S P85DL. Here’s the ad because I don’t have good pics yet. https://www.findmyelectric.com/listings/2014-model-s-p85dl-81045/ Love ya, CR <3
  4. Of all the things about CR, I’ll miss gabe. Something.
  5. You guys with your silly Smash Barenaked Cherry-Poppin’ Traveler references.
  6. I think 95% of us are still logging in to see if the dumpster caught on fire yet. Still luv all of u doe.
  7. This is like Maximum Monday…but on a Wednesday?
  8. Keep posting, everyone!!! http://www.simbasible.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1-23.gif
  9. Ryan, thanks for always helping me out. Hope you’re parents are doing well! #killthemwithkindness
  10. Yup, I remember that as well (Shaker Heights)
  11. Well said, Scott. I'm also sad to see the forum die, but I choose to remember all the car guys I met and life benefits I gained through CR.
  12. Mace is. He posted a video of him talking!
  13. +1. I'll keep logging in here until it dies. I will say, if someone has the techy time to keep it going on a new platform, I'm happy to carry the cost of hosting for a couple years...
  14. Everything said already, but sincerely this was a large part of my adult life and I thank you all for supporting it. See you guys at CC&C. Will keep on Slack as well. <3
  15. Derek, as your legal aid on CR, I recommend not answering that question. However, when I come to visit, don't ask what I'm sipping in my Yeti.
  16. Let’s go the other way here: With all the kWh and torque capacity in the Hummer’s EV power train, can they detune the output to be only barely faster than the original 6.2L Diesel Hummer? Curious what the range would be if it was limited to 55mph.
  17. I heard about this on one of my daily emails and thought "There's GM, rushing to market with a half-baked product." after seeing how impressive the F-150 Lightning was. Man, this actually looks great with the Avalanche midgate option too. Just skimmed through this article, and as much as I crap on post-gubmint-bailout gm this is an impressive vehicle. Didn't even think of the platform-sharing with the new Hummer EV. This thing will be a hit. Front end is still hideous as always. https://www.autoblog.com/2022/01/05/2024-chevy-silverado-ev-reveal-ces-midgate-avalanche/ Chevy or Ford, the consumer wins with these new EV trucks. Will be intadesting to see if the products live up to the hype and the numbers the OEMs put up.
  18. Looks great after the cleanup! Those headlights came out amazing considering how hazy they were.
  19. Daughter's middle-skool Ski Club is delayed a week because of snow-making conditions. I hope staffing shortages don't delay anything further.
  20. I know COBRA (central Ohio biking) is trying to do more stuff at the new Quarry Trails. A close contact at Thrive Cos is developing the R/E next to Quarry Trails, told me it’s the only MetroParks that will be open 24/7, and I have a feeling overnight campsites may be in the future. With their bike trails may be a perfect close-to-Columbus option?
  21. Agreed 100%. It wasn't long ago that you nearly couldn't put a solar-panel system on your roof in UA. Code needs to change for myriad reasons.
  22. This is certainly a rabbit hole but a ton of great info from your research and thoughts, Jesse. Best of luck with the project as someone like Craig will have much better insight than I do. It does suck for hobbyists/car guys that these restrictions exist. I've dealt with UA Code this year and you realize that "neighborhood aesthetic" can be a nebulous term that kills a lot of big ideas in the suburbs. No wonder people move out to the country where they have a ton more options for building out space for toys and hobbies.
  23. If the garage is built into a house remodel (as opposed to a freestanding building) can you get more flexible on the size? UA has restrictions on standalone buildings but a lot of people breezeway a garage to their house and the flexibility increases dramatically. Edit: I see your comments above but the one thing about paying too dollar for garage/storage space is it will never be enough, and if much of the infrastructure cost is already built you should stretch for the absolute most room you can afford.
