  1. If you want to choose all the parts yourself Neweggs PC builder service lets you choose just about anything in stock in their Cali warehouse to build the PC from. That includes being able to get graphics cards that are otherwise unavailable at sticker price. The assembly fee is $100, way less than the scalper markup up just the video cards would be.
  2. I usually point people to this guide as a general personal finance starting point that is solid. While not having PMI is a good goal I wouldn't put off home ownership because of it. It can be removed once you pay the loan down or you can refi to get out of it.
  3. I still have a Note8 also. I don't use the stylus much but nothing on the market has been able to tempt me away. If my phone died today I would probably get a Pixel 5a so I could keep a headphone jack.
  4. We had to re-do everything when we moved in here since it was still fuel oil and the a/c was from the 80s. I went with a very efficient heat pump then used propane as secondary heat instead of the heat strips. I paired that all with a propane standby generator. The generator can run the a/c or the heat pump but if heat is called for I switch the furnace to propane only mode to drop the generator load. If only we had natural gas available...
  5. I'll take it, PM Incoming.
  6. New flash: Colorado has most of those already...
  7. Musk next week: Oh we changed our mind. *dumps $2B in bitcoin for profit*
  8. I believe this limit is only for now because they don't have enough satellites up to cover the planet so they are probably orbiting them so that they can cover only specific areas with a quality connection. It also gives some insight into how the billing will probably work. Plans that are fixed to a cell will probably be cheaper than roaming plans just because they can.
  9. What about this: https://smile.amazon.com/TapeCase-423-5-UHMW-Tape-Roll/dp/B00823JEUO I expected drawers that were falling apart, not just a little rough to open.
  10. They did this run in FL so they only had 3 miles of runway vs the giant amount of space they had in NV. I'm not saying the other run was accurate since I don't know, but it makes sense this one would be lower just due to location.
  11. Could be worse. Most places can't find enough nurses to hire. We are starting to pull any office staff with credentials out onto the floor.
  12. If you're towing it to Alum Creek whatever. If you're going to be towing it long distance anything that reduces the number of inputs the driver has to do helps. If you weigh the camper once it is loaded with stuff it will probably be heavier than you think. The weight distribution will help keep more weight on the front of the tow vehicle air suspension or not, it isn't just about leveling.
  13. No, Libertarians clearly did not meet *insert arbitrary new goal post* in order to be included.
  14. I have to agree with this I like the all original look.
  15. I put Scorpion ATs on my Sierra a couple months ago. Slight MPG drop but I leveled the front end and ripped off all the aero at the same time so... They have noticeably more grip than the factory junk did in the wet, haven't had to leave in the snow yet.
  16. If it was me for the big mountain passes I would unhook the Jeep and have my wife drive it separately. You are rolling in an antique RV that will be challenged to drag itself over the passes especially at western altitudes. You'll lose ~30% of your horsepower at 10k ft, probably more since you're running a carb.
  17. My call is disgruntled AT&T employee. Wanted to hurt the company but not people. Rigs the RV with explosives and a countdown with a warning. Parks it next to the building on the day with the least people in the area. Then he starts the countdown/announcements and offs himself (gunshot, found body parts).
  18. An RV explodes on Christmas... has anyone checked on Cousin Eddie?
  19. Pickaway County - I was due to renew in December, Scheduled in early September for the beginning of February which was their first appointment.
  20. I was referring specifically to "home defense insurance". As you say carry outside the home is more complex. You need to know the laws and what to say to the police even with insurance. I'd also much rather choose my own lawyer (Derek DeBrosse in my case) than trying to find one that accepts the insurance. Putting money towards an emergency fund is way more valuable than paying an insurance company for a situation that is extremely unlikely to happen. This isn't like car insurance where you will probably have a claim eventually, it's like shark bite insurance. Holding that money yourself you can earn interest and use it if needed the million other more likely situations that could pop up. Paying the insurance the cash is just gone.
  21. Ohio has the castle doctrine, seems like throwing money away.

    RIP Hollywood

The theater experience has been so bad the few times I've gone in the past 5-7 years they can all close and I will not miss them a bit. The industry has had a decade to figure out a new business model and they spent most of it filing lawsuits against kids in their parents basements.
  23. Try their patient feedback number. Sometimes getting someone outside the practices in the loop will cause things to get fixed. 614-234-2777
