Probably not quite the Goldwing Pauly and Jim were thinking of, but they are correct. Sold the Concours at 2:30. Picked up the Goldwing in North Royalton at 8 tonight. Officially old

@TimTheAzn is right on the money. Once you are sure that it is the bike for you head down to Traxxon Dynamics and get the full Monty suspension. Makes the old gens amazing machines.

Best part, the dragon and all that is otw back. Takes him a day to do it.

The Connies are a young mans game. I get it. Good thing I'm never growing up.

Now hold up you young whippersnapper, I still have the CBR. This purchase was to make the wife comfortable. It was tough to see the Connie go. I thoroughly enjoyed riding that bike for all types of riding. I have a feeling I will have another one in the future. They are pretty easy to come by on the cheap side as well because nobody knows what they are.

So far I’ve been impressed with the suspension. I haven’t pushed it to even the Concourse level yet but what I have done it’s stuck to the ground like glue.

Without the upgrade, it does very well. No doubt.

Love the sv, I want to do the Gsxr fork swap as well.  Any tips?

The Gsxr swap was already on the bike when I got it. Check out SVrider.com for the best guide on doing the swap.

A passenger pylon can is open for interpretation. When she is older tell her is a New Thing.

I saw stuff like this and canopies on Goldwings as I searched for mine.

I should have added a throttle lock a long time ago, this is amazing. 20220627_212623.thumb.jpg.4a962e1c34a4cb789feb369eb17aef04.jpg

I run one of those on my Valkyrie and have it set as a "dead mans" throttle. It stays where you put it.....very convenient..nice on the wrist..

I have cruise control on the Wing of course, but I still miss the throttle lock. On a country road or wherever I could flip it on and point to something on the right for the wife.
