Who the hell am I? My name is Joe. 38ish something middle aged guy who's coming to Columbus for work - I've been pretty good with the BMW community here in the PNW, organizing meets, bbq's, drag and dyno days and I'm looking to get involved with like minded-folks in Columbus. We've got a place in Powell with my wife working in Columbus and me in Polaris. You have a family sedan -why are you on here? S-l-e-e-p-e-r. The car is a 2008 BMW 335xi sedan in Black (the AWD version). I wanted something I could use as my DD, race on the weekends, and take my old lady out for a hot date once in a while and not change a dam thing on the car. What's in your car? Stock the car is a TT 3.0L Flat 6 pushing 300hp/tq at the crank. The car has the following performance mods: JuiceBox3 ECU Piggyback boost controller pushing 16.5psi on race maps AR Design Catless Downpipes BMS Dual Cone Intakes Helix FMIC (shortly to be installed) My last dyno I hit SAE 386awhp and 377awtq. I'm shooting for 400+ awhp/tq once I get the next mod on, I can almost feel it!! But really now, do you race? I've done most my drag events at Pacific Raceways here in Seattle and Bremerton Raceway as well. Fastest time so far is 12.51s @ 111mph but I'm headed for the low twelves once the FMIC gets bolted on this week. 60fts average at 1.8s. I haven't run the road coarse yet but I'll work my way thru suspension/brake mods probably this summer and see where that goes. Aww for FFS man enough about you, where are the pics? I'm actually moving the week of Memorial day on the cross-country tour to Columbus.. I should be in town first week of June and will look for some Cars&Coffee meets then to introduce myself. Too bad the 3series will be transported over there - Stuck with the Acura SUV to make the trek.
