  1. 2005 Honda CBR600RR in Orange/Black Tribal fairings
Miles: Just over 20k miles, may go up slightly since I run it every so often
Title: Clean, in hand... ready to transfer over to new buyer
Location: Morrow, OH... just outside of Cincinnati, OH
Price: $4300 OBO (No trades please)
Contact: Email: blkbelt@gmail.com or PM (email preferred)

    Description:

Up for sale is my '05 Honda CBR600RR with about 20,000 miles on it. I am the 2nd owner of the bike, it has been great to me and has never let me down. The bike is current on all maintenance with some recent work being: new brake pads front and rear, new air filter, newer Metzeler M5 tires with about 2500 mi on them... plenty of tread left and they grip very well, oil changed 1500 mi ago, chain degreased and lubed every other ride, etc. Only minor mods have been done to this bike but it is essentially OEM... mods include: Hotbodies rear fender eliminator, Keiti tank guard, OEM Honda windscreen painted black on underside, flush mount turn signals, and license plate relocation mounted to the rear axle nut.

Issues: The bike only has 2 issues with it which aren't major. The left turn signal has a short somewhere in the wiring so it does not turn on/blink. The right one works fine. It should be a simple fix, I just haven't had time to address it. The other issue is there are scratches in the right fairing where the previous owner went down (pictured in this ad). Please note: these fairings are OEM from Honda, but they are NOT the original fairings on this bike... the bike was originally black. I purchased these OEM fairings used on Craigslist, aware of the damage, and had hoped to smooth out the fairing and have the bike vinyl wrapped or painted, but I never got around to it. I assure you it is strictly cosmetic damage, from a distance you cannot really tell there are any scratches at all with the way it blends in with the tribal design. The bike itself is mechanically perfect and has ZERO issues.

Reason for selling: I honestly don't want to sell this bike at all but my priorities have changed recently and I need to put the money towards more responsible things and keeping this toy just isn't in the cards. Mileage may go up slowly since I take it for a short spin from time to time to keep everything in working order.

Price is $4300 OBO (under KBB value and on par with or cheaper than those I've seen for sale) and I will entertain REASONABLE offers. If I get my asking price or an offer close enough that I'm happy with, I will also throw in a brand new 4000K HID kit (never opened out of the box) for the bike that I never installed, a 45 tooth sprocket with chain extension that was never installed and came with the bike when I purchased it, and new cans of chain degreaser and lube that I have not used. I may also have some oil I can throw in as well. Thanks for looking.

  2. Hi all! Up for sale is my wife's 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250R in Metallic Island Blue. This was my wife's first bike after she obtained her motorcycle license and was purchased brand new from Middletown Cycle. The bike has only 1,250 mi and as the mileage suggests, she has only rode this bike sparingly during nice weather. The warranty on the bike is still valid through 7/5/14 (3 year warranty, bike purchased 7/5/11 as a brand new 2010 that never sold). The bike has been dropped once at a very low speed and is scuffed on the left side (shown in pics) but the damage is purely cosmetic... everything is mechanically perfect on the bike. Selling due to the bike hardly being used and wanting it to go to someone who will enjoy it.

Price is listed at $3,100 OBO. Not looking for trades of any kind and no joy rides. Mileage may go up slightly since I take it for a short spin from time to time to keep everything in working order. This is a great starter bike that I would recommend for anyone wanting to learn how to ride. Please contact via email since I'm not very active on these forums and may or may not catch your PMs.  Email: blkbelt@gmail.com.

    Thanks for looking!

  3. I agree, don't need someone telling you to wear a helmet or a seatbelt, should be your call. I think people are more hung up on that, than actually making a decision themselves to wear a helmet. Even if no law were in place I think a lot would still do it by their own choice for safety reasons.

  4. I actually heard about Kenny's death on another forum that he is on as well... didn't know him personally but I had seen him around on the other forum and was pretty well known there. Made me think to check and see if the news had been posted here.

RIP Kenny... I really like what was said about telling your loved ones that you love them and reaching out to your friends and other people important to you. Everyone be careful out there.

  5. New guy here... want to ride with you all sometime but unfortunately I can't make this one :(

Getting a tattoo done all day... of course I'm stuck inside getting it done on a day looking to be pretty nice lol. But I am excited to get it :) I'll try to come next time!

  6. Wish I could go with you guys... I'm a new rider looking to meet some guys and ride with you all (within my limits though, I know you guys will be much faster than me). Hopefully next weekend I can come out! Btw, my name is Jason and I have an '05 CBR600RR. Have fun guys and ride safe.

  7. Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jason and I live in Montgomery, here in Cincinnati. I recently purchase an '05 CBR600RR in black a month ago and it's my first bike. I've really enjoyed riding so far, I absolutely love it. I'm really into cars and have always wanted a bike so I went ahead and took the plunge and I'm glad I did.

I hope I can meet some of you guys here soon and maybe go riding with you all... I love riding so far but it would be nice to have some guys to ride with too. I passed by Quaker Steak & Lube last night for bike night and it looked pretty awesome but I didn't stop by since I was by myself and didn't really know anyone lol. Anywho, hope to meet some of you all soon!
