Hi, I really like the tall windshield. It is a factory option for the 2006 model. I got it off ebay from a dealer in Los Angeles. I know Yamaha changed the windshield design for 2007 and newer models. I haven't noticed any handling differences with it and it helps keep the wind from around my helmet. Hope this helps.
