From Mid-Ohio's rider gear requirements:
- ADVANCED and INTERMEDIATE GROUP riders must wear one or two piece leather suits designed for motorcycle use. Two-piece leathers must provide substantial attachment between jacket and pants.
- NOVICE GROUP riders must wear one or two piece leather or textile suits. It is recommended that two-piece suits provide attachment between jacket and pants.

I had to spend a couple hours in a hospital waiting room today, this was the perfect way to pass the time! Thank you to all who have posted

Well I had to spin off early as well but I'm still feeling the burn (says the old guy).
Medium group was paced perfectly by Helmut and Snot and everything was really well organized I thought.
300.0 miles... good ride!

Will be nice to meet you. There will be plenty on spots to squeeze in, no issues with speed as well if you been riding core qq
Cool! My only issue is I tweaked my hand at work this past week and it's still a little sore. I might have to bail and slab it back home if it starts hurting too bad

I think I'll do this if nobody minds a newbie signing up at the last minute. I haven't been following this because I was planning on the Saturday evening track day at Mid-Oh.
This would be my first OR ride but I've done plenty of group rides before, including the occasional CORE ride back in the day. Med or Med-Fast would suit me fine if they aren't too full already.

I demo'd one of those at the Mid-Ohio vintage weekend. One bad-ass bike!

I've been trying to make it over for one of these from Springfield all season and finally made it happen! Cool to see another Aprilia rider there 0hi0. Lots of beautiful bikes, bumped into a couple old friends. Best bike night I've been to in a LONG time!

It's good to hear you were going fast, and even better to hear you are alright! You were not moving at all after the incident and I was just sitting there helpless on the inside of turn 1 with my camera.
Oh you were the photographer! You got pics of the crash then?

Yep that was me, first big crash in 12 years of track days .
I had sorted out a handling problem I was having, the bike was rock solid stable and I was feeling really good, clicking off personal best lap times one after the other. Then about halfway thru the first session after lunch I braked too late for turn one, went in too hot, and down I went. Nobody's fault but my own.
Apparantly I was unresponsive for a few minutes so I got a ride in the ambulance. Got my bell rung pretty good, I'm still a little stiff and sore but nothing serious. I'm told the bike flipped twice and rolled once, overall it's in pretty good shape though... we will both be back!

Hi all, after lurking on and off for a while I figured it was about time to post up.
My name's Rob and I ride a red '06 Triumph Daytona. I've met some of you already, mostly at track days, but I'm trying to get out on the street more this season. I usually get up to Mid-Ohio 4 or 5 times a year, I'm one the old guys there just to keep the youngsters honest . I'll be there with a few friends next time on July 3rd, hope to see some of you there.
