  1. I need a zipper and a strap fixed on a tecknick jacket, It's part of a 2 peice suit that fits realy well so I'de like to get it repaired ! Anyone know of a seamstress or a leather guy who could do a good job replaceing a heavy duty zipper for a fair price that's local ?? I'll save my rant on the quality for another time ! thanks Cat !
  2. They all suck to walk in. IMO I got the icon shoes and the joe rocket boots and they both suck to walk in. I like my sketchers steel toe boots for the street because of that !
  3. My bad, I can't type and didn't wanna explain as much as I should. It's just a basic list on fork sizes to work off of when doing it. It's all I got. The best way is get the tripples, stem, and forks wheel and brakes from donor bike. and go from there. get correct bearing made and pressed if needed, cut stem if needed and rethread, space wheel if needed ,bleed brakes.
  4. I think the usd forks are a good upgrade and work out nice and easy to do. Some of this you gotta figure out yourself ? The list helps me and any do it yourselfer ! Skip it !
  5. You could look at that, see that your 2001 gsxr has the same fork dementions as the 05-06 bike and swap it out for a newer front end , get the wheel , calipers and rotors and slide it right in ? whalllla direct swap on that one , don't even need the tripples ! and several more. Who cares about a clip on !
  6. It gives the part number ! You can swap up almost all of these front ends onto ANY BIKE ! Sometimes they ARE direct swaps. sometimes a trip to the machine shop for a bearing or stem cut. the only other issue is wheel spacing ?? my 2000 750 = 02 gsxr 1000 six pot My 01 750 = 05 front end radial brakes my 955i = 01 gsxr 750 front end My bandit 400 = 2000 gsxr 750 front end
  7. ^^^ Hahaha yea ^^^^ If your the spelling police, you got your work cut out with me ! LOL
  8. Oh , OK see how I am !! LOL I always do that ! You probably already have something listed and I didn't read that either ! LOL Thanks , can I ?? Can I, HUH ?
  9. Good fucking time !!! GREAT bunch of folks ! Brandon loaned me some wheels, They tolerated my nonconformist attitude. Burned up some shit in the bomb fire. I don't drink, but I DID LAST NIGHT !! I Knew noone, but BS'd with EVERYONE, EVERYONE. There's alot of comrodery goin on with this group. Refreshing to talk to some Like minded folks. not a Asshole or bully in the bunch !! If there was, I would have took my eye and hit them RIGHT IN THE FIST WITH IT ! I got there at 8pm and left at 1:30am. Got to bed at 3am and back to work at 6. I'm wiped. It was obvious we all have cabin fever , standing in the garage , and around a bomb fire, Just to hang with other riders, and talk about our passion. It was a much needed night for me ! Thanks Guys and gals. Oh yea, even the women's were nice and spoke to me !! LOL
  10. I wasn't permited to post in the how to yet , but was asked for this from another member sooooooooo, Here is a basic list and may help out if anyone is interested in updateing thier front end. May want to sticky it ? 22. Never !! That is you !! You say what you think bra !! Most posted aren't true fighters anyways, and most folks don't know what they are ? All go no show !! If you haven't shaved weight, inhanced the suspention, brakes, stereing, power delivery and make it more suitable for street use....It aint a fighter and my favorite bikes are the ones I BUILD ..........FTF
  23. There are no hookups and the bathrooms suck ! the place is verry family friendly and there is alot for the kids to see. The racers make a much appreciated effort to speek to the kids, sign autograffs and everything. My stepkids had a great time and met and talked to ALL the superbike racers. There is an awesome campgrounds a 10 min. drive away , with canoe and tube rentals horseback riding, a swiming pond and nice clean showers and bathrooms !! The best place to camp and realy close is called the Blue lagoon !! the whole infield is open and free parking for bikes and set up with picnic tables and some grills. I'll look for a link. That's where I camp when I go !! don't miss it
