  4. I've thought about getting an iPhone for awhile now, but I'm sticking with Verizon. I keep hearing that iPhone will be on Verizon sometime or other. I saw the Droid advertisement, went online that night to read about it, and I like what I read about it. Thanks for all the information. I think a Droid is my Christmas present to myself...after everyone else is taken of, of course.
  5. I have been told by friends that it does have a blue flame from the tailpipe under that circumstance.
  6. My personal experience: Bought stock bike, rode it for a while, noticed significant drop in power between 4,000 and 7,000 RPM. Installed full exhaust, K&N air filter, and PCIII supposedly tuned for that motor/exhaust combination. Compared to published stock ratings, the overall HP increase was minimal. The biggest advantage though, was that the big dip in power in the middle of the RPM range was eliminated. It pulls the entire way through the RPM range now. I believe there may have been a slight loss in fuel mileage, but I can't remember exactly what it was previously, I do however get 39 MPG at the moment, 45,000 miles later. My main concern is that I believe it has been running too lean. It backfires upon throttle release. At first, I was lead to believe it was because the engine was running too rich and the backfire was caused by excess fuel being burned off. I have later heard from two other individuals that it is more likely that it is too lean. Any opinions?
  7. Recently on the radio, I heard that some celebrities are getting out, John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston, perhaps Tom Cruise. I just read an article about the top guy in Scientology being abusive to subordinates, it was a rather disturbing story. Many years ago, I lived in Clearwater, Florida and saw quite a bit of Scientologist people and property, etc. The local newspaper ran a serial article about the group which intrigued me. I can't understand why the Feds haven't shut Scientology down yet.
  8. I had my heart set on an MV. Then Harley bought them which kinda broke my heart. But who knows what will happen now.
