  1. I have ridden a buddy of mines XB12CS a couple of times and I liked the handling and torque, but the Rev range was too short for my tastes. I don't feel like it handled better than anything else I have ridden, but I would say it was at least on par. The fit and finish seemed to be reasonably well done. I remember that it seemed like it roasted my legs and backside a bit much, which is saying something considering my RC's heat reputation. I would say that overall it was an easily rideable bike. It has a broad torque curve, given it's limited rev range and would be very forgiving on the street or track. Just my 2 cents.

  2. Congratulations on your new pipe, always makes you feel good to do something to your baby. I had been reading this thread and had myself all cranked up to throw my .5 cents worth in but got to the end and saw you had pulled the trigger allready. Good luck and have fun maybe see you out there on the road. Oh and don't let anyone tell you it's just an SV, one of the fastest guys I know rides an old beat-up ratty SV 650 and he regularly puts bigger bikes to shame through the twisty bits. What matters is that it has two wheels and is yours!!!

  3. Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm obviously new to the Ohio riders forum, but I have been riding for many years. I was introduced to this forum by a buddy of mine and look forward to participating with this groups rides and discussions. I ride with a pretty diverse group of guys, in bikes and skill levels and hope to be able to learn from this group and possibly contribute. I live and work in Springfield and do trackdays mainly at Mid-Ohio, but would like to ride other tracks as well.
