The Bad:
-Needs an idle air control valve(I'm going to work on getting this replaced in the next week or so), the car idles high sometimes when its warm
-exhaust was welded up by Madhatter. Could use the mid-pipe replaced.
-starter is noisy upon startup sometimes when its cold out.
Overall the car is in pretty decent shape for its age and mileage although it does have the typical cancer starting around the back fenderwells. I've always tried to keep it clean and maintained, and oil changes performed right at 6k or less (Pennzoil 5w30 and Purolator filters). It would make a great beater for someone. I have most of the receipts and records for parts and service.
Craigslist price is $4500 OBO. CR/COS price is $4200 OBO.
Best way to contact me is by email (s_sobas@hotmail.com) or by text 7403617314.
Thanks for looking!

Just picked up a Shield 9mm from Vance's this weekend. Damn nice gun, which I had the funds leftover to get the 40 cal. GLWS, I'm sure it won't last long!

Cabela's has Federal .223 in stock for 8.99, 3 box per sale limit, but no limit on sales lol. They also had .40 cal in stock for 20.99. Not great prices but I was able to stock up a little on ammo.

I'm working on finishing my private this coming spring/summer. I already passed ground school, and can't wait to get started with the flying portion.

I love my M&P pistol, will the same be said about an M&P rifle? Seems there is a $3-400 difference if stepping up to a Colt AR.
And what do people think between plastic (polymer?) and metal guns? Like AR15's for example, any major differences or reasons to choose one over another?
I've been wanting an AR for quite some time and it just so happened I got my bonus this week so I'm debating on just pulling the trigger...so to speak.
Just adding my 2 cents here. I just picked up a Sig M400 Swat from Keely Arms(I would highly recommend him) for just over a grand. I love the gun, but if I was looking to stick to a stricter budget I would go for the S&W M&P15 Sport and spend the balance on as much ammo and pmags as I could afford. There probably won't be a run/ban on charging handles, handguards and the like so you could always upgrade that stuff later on.
Here are a couple of youtube reviews on RRA and the S&W 15 Sport.

Hope this helps. Check out ar15.com, and just start reading. I hate how the forum is setup, but there is tons of info out there.

I have the tactical version. Awesome holster, and very comfortable.

Amazing pics. I'm going there the first week of September. We are renting a Suburban which I'm sure the brakes will be toast by the time we get back to the bottom lol. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to eat and see in the area? I was planning on going to Garden of the Gods as well.

wow place looks amazing! GLWS!

Love it! I'm partial to wagons though. That thing will look sick lowered. Needs some wagon mafia stickers lol...

/\ +1. The best way to add HID's the correct way is with a retrofit. Some of the cheaper kits you could have issues with melting the housings and causing issues with your wiring. But then again, there are people who have run the cheaper setups without problems so its really your call. I'm sure there are writeups on how to retrofit TSX or S2000 projectors into your oem housings.

wow that brought back some memories lol. Its crazy to see how technology progresses...

I'm in this same boat as well and interested in whatever advise you guys have to give. I also work full time, and while its always been at the top of my list of things to finish, something has always got in the way. Well, now I'm pushing 30, okay job (as in it pays the bills for the most part), and a mortgage but still have not finished my college degree. My office is located in the same building as the Tuttle ODU branch so I've been considering the ODU program as well, but open to the online programs if it gets me a degree faster.

Lonnie. I know a few others here have used him. Taking his Level 2 class next week.
Thanks for the recommendation. Been looking for a place to take it since Safety CCW closed down, i was going to take it there.

The harnesses expire in 2013.
The seats are Pro Drags, 16" w/ cover and 18" without.

The head lights look like they came off an Audi
exactly what I was thinking. Its badass. Hopefully the interior is better than previous generations. I drove one to Colorado a couple years ago and it was junk IHMO.

pm'd! I need some of this...

Another +1 for A2Z. Yousef did a excellent job on my WRX. Never had a problem with it.

I moved myself from Columbus to SLC. Fit a 2br apartment in a 17' Uhaul and towed my Tacoma behind on a flatbed trailer. It cost me around $1600 for the truck and trailer and another $800 in gas. Personally, if I had the money I would have just got a POD, packed it myself, and had it shipped but they wanted over three grand and screw that.
It sucked so much ass driving that Uhaul for two days, hauling the Tacoma up and down those steep grades with only the gravity brakes on the trailer. Super sketch but I would probably do it again just to get out of Ohio. Good luck with whatever you choose, Boulder is beautiful!
