Pm hwilli he might be able to help you in this vevture as he is building one in his garage.
I would love to, but apparently I can only post 1 messages every 120 min. Would you do the honors?
-
Try this. CLICK I found some 70's model CB750 diagrams in here. Every part is shown.
I got the parts diagrahms, and the shop manual and owners manual. I am just having a hard time finding out which bolts go where, and the orientation of some things. Not really a big deal, but have you ever tried to put a puzzle together without looking at the picture on the box? Its kinda like that, with moving parts. I didnt take it apart, so im just trying stuff out.
You can post up here even if you dont have an CBs, but you will get frowned upon Pwnd.
-
Actually, Im the one thats building it. Thanks for making this thread, Eric.
I'll definately take any parts your giving away from free . I got a 76 CB750 K6, so some of the parts should be interchangable. Thanks for your help.

I wish outside riding with you guys instead of sitting in a class room.
And this thread apparently is the only thread with a "warm like pussy" tag...
-
I'll be there. What should I bring? I can only fit whatever the backpack on the back of my girl can carry...
-
So what time should we start showing up?
And whoever is running it, I have two cans, takes about 2 minutes to swap. Is it cool to dyno the two different cans?
Sexy Smileys begin!
-
you can bring the girl if you dont mind a buncha rednecks mackin on her
On second thought, I think I'll ride alone. She gets eye raped enough as it is...
If freakin ASK would actually order the part I paid them for, then I could be up and running, and make it for sure. Darn them and their innabilities to perform small tasks like ordering parts, timing bikes, etc...
-
If my bikes done by then, Im in. What time is it starting? Can I bring the girl, or is this a sausagefest?
-
I dont want to seem like a thread jacker, but I get out of church at noonish, and work at 4. Me and Zrader were gonna go for a couple hour ride or so. If any columbus/reynoldsburg/pickerington/etc guys want to join us, feel free. I'll be riding the cruiser, and Zach will be on his Katana.
-
Yeah you know i follow you around lol. And i realize were only on this and 3si.org. I forgot your not on the katana forum lol
I was gonna ask what the 3rd one was. I am apart of Jbody.org, HondaAccordForums.org, RiderForums.org, ModdedMustang.org, 3si.org, PocketPCaddicts.net, and here of course.
Man, too many forums to keep track, and several of those are for my friends, because they dont have the mental capacity to use the google machine for themselves, when I work on their cars.

+1 for Newark
and +1 for Smilies
Hells Yeah!
-
Um, not to be a nay sayer or anything, but Newark campus is where its at!
Anyway, bout time you got on the forums. We need to have a 3S and bike meet sometime soon. Got more pictures of your demon bike?
P.S. - I love these smileys
-
Whats up Kev.
Now I found you on 3 different sites lol
PS - riding all break together. so get your bike ready
Woah, talk about a stalker... Tee hee
Hope you like the sound of the Intruders pipes, cause my bike is out of time (Thanks to ASK).

pr0n on the smartphone FTMFW. No viruses, portable, barely trackable (Unless it has GPS )
-
I don't know if this has been mentioned in this thread or others, but I gotta throw a -1 out there for ASK. While doing a valve adjusment, Josh noticed that my bike was 1 tooth out of time (user error). The previous owner of the bike had it regularly serviced at ASK, and had the 6k and 12k tune up done there.
I've heard good things about ASK, but from personal experience, I just use them for parts, not labor.

How do I bring a side dish if I ride my bike? Suggestions?
What, you guys dont have saddle bags?
If I bring the cruiser (Which I wont), I could bring 4 gallons of milk, and still have a front bag...
-
cuz this isnt japan
What? Mitsubishi is domestic, right?
-
well me and my wife have bikes now. Idk how she feels riding with new people but i always look for a reason to ride. But neither of us are aloud on high/freeways so were limited to back roads
Got your temps? Its been a while since I took mine, but I took my test fairly quickly after I got my temps. And I got a copy of the MC Novice laws in my bike, just in case a cop tries to get me for night riding or something...
-
I'll try to make it out, assuming I can RTO both jobs again.
Hmm, which to ride... The sport tour-er or the cruiser...
Considering Im only 20, I'll stick with something more appropriate for my age range..
-
I'll try to make it out if I can RTO from both jobs. Im curious what my 2 valve makes...
-
just tell them its a dodge stealth and everything will fit fine
Good call. Somehow, telling them its a GTO doesnt get me the right parts...

Welcome! I like those kawis, good looks and comfort!
Now maybe the stats are misleading but the speed of a zx6? Well, might be close if my 200lb was on the zx6. Anyway, I ride a sport-tour also. Speed isn't everything.
How tall are you at 135lbs? I sat on one of those at the dealership and the seat was nearly at BMW height.
I've never actually tested it, but the ZR-7 forums say that my bike will beat a ZX6 and ZX7 off the line, but around 80mph, my bike falls behind (only 2 valves/cyl). Speed isnt everything, which is why I own this bike, and not a liter bike.
Im about 5'10, so 135 means im a skinny guy. The stock seat is a little high, so I cut out the hard stock foam and put in some nice cushion seat foam from hobby lobby. Made the ride much more comfortable, and made me sink into the seat lower, so I felt more nimble on the bike. I also got little bit more drag bars ish so I dont have to sit straight up. Still is a very comfortable ride, and can go as fast as my little frame needs to go. (I used to have an 11sec 70 Mustang)

I'll be riding tomorrow... until it rains. We didnt get the promised storms of Sunday until late night. Oh channel 6
-
Oh' date=' and nice bike. I haven't seen one of those in a while. Super clean and super schweet!![/quote']
Thanks. Can you tell that the bike had just recovered from a nasty dump a few months ago? I've tried my best to restore it back to beautiful, now I just gotta get all the buzzes and rattles out.
Looking for a 1970;s Honda cb750
