Just popped in and saw the new subforum! Sweet!

 

Although I don't shoot nearly as much I will try to contribute as much as I can.

His name is Colton, he lives down here in Cincinnati.

Also, I really wish I kept my M3/4 but I had to sell that to pay for some taxes that Liberty Tax screwed up on. Later on in life I found out I never really had to sell the car to begin with. I sold it to a friend with the full intention of buying it back later until it backed into a telephone pole.

My first car was a 1993 Buick LeSabre Limited Edition AKA The Lazy Boy on wheels. It was a hand me down and since I was a brat I tried to kill it as best I could.

My first car I bought on my own was my '93 Civic CX. GSR Swapped with bolt-ons and a tune. Best time was a 14.1

I traded it for a 92 G20 DET swapped, gutted, Wilwood brakes etc. Loved that car.

Haha yea, I sold the Mini to CarMax and picked this up in August. So happy to be back in a sedan.

Well, this morning I woke up early and looked out the window to a foggy neighborhood. I figured I would just stay awake and run down the street to a park and try to get some photos of my car. So, I sprayed off the frost with my hose and grabbed my camera. It felt good to do an auto shoot again. I've been busy with moving, work and other random crap so I haven't gotten a chance to take the camera out and just relax. Well, I finally did and here are the results. Hope you like 'em

Great shots! What lens are you shooting with? That's quite the variety of animals you have around your place.

Well I had some free time from taking care of my wife (she had foot surgery this week), so I grabbed the camera and went out to snap a few shots of my new car. I picked it up on Saturday, it's an 05 330i with the ZHP package, lowered on H&R Cup Kit, 3.38 diff, GruppeM Intake, Dinan FSTB. Anyhoo... here are some pictures. Be gentle it's been many months since I've even pointed my camera at a car, add to that it's black so it was a little tough. Thanks for looking!

One of the nicest condition Mini's I've seen. I'm shocked you haven't had any takers at that price, as sharp as you keep it. GLWTS

 

Thanks Doc, btw I need to pm you back once I've got a little free time. Needless to say I've been crazy busy at work with this hot and dry spell.

 

How long and wide is the back area with the back seats folded down?

 

With those folded down, how easy would it be to put a 6' set of skis up the middle?

 

Do you drive it in the winter, if so how does it do?

 

I can fit a full set of golf clubs diagonally in the back with the seats folded. I'll get some measurements for you very soon.

 

I do drive it in the winter. My job requires me to be at work when it snows so often times I was driving to work in it. The car did well, although in the heavy snow it was a bit dicey at times. With a set of snow tires the car would be a beast though.

The wife and I are members of the Cincinnati Zoo. We try to go at least once a month. I like the way the Columbus Zoo is set up but if you get the chance you should make a trip down to the Cincy Zoo, it really is one of the better zoo's I've ever been to.

 

BTW, great shots! It's always tricky to get some good shots with funky glass, pesky kids, and tricky subjects.

I'm planning on trying to find some tickets there. The guys at work kept telling me that's the only real way of getting them without buying the entire week pass.

 

If anyone has any extra's I'd be willing to get some for tomorrow.

I'm trying to sell my clean title 2006 Mini Cooper in order to get into a bigger car. It has 46,000 miles on, I bought it 2 years ago with 17,000 miles on it. I am the 2nd owner, the previous owners were a younger couple who were expecting a baby.

 

The car is a 6-speed manual dark silver with silver roof and black leather. It has the Premium, Sport, and Cold Weather packages installed on it which gives it heated seats, heated mirrors, and washer nozzles. The Sport package gives it auto leveling HID's w/ washers, fog lights, 17" S light alloy wheels, dynamic stability control (DSC), and the U-shaped hood stripe. The Premium package gives it auto AC, multifunction steering wheel, on board computer, and panoramic sunroof.

 

The body is in good condition minus the hood which has some rock chips in it as well as a dent from a falling ladder right next to the MINI emblem. It is about an inch in diameter. Other than that the exterior is in excellent condition.

 

I have had the car in for warranty work twice. One was to replace a rattle in the exhaust and the other was just a few months ago to have the front control arm bushings replaced. It has been in for all of the required check ups as well. All work since I've owned it has been performed by the BMW Store in Cincinnati.

 

Kelley Blue Book has the private party value at $17,700 for good condition and $16,500 for fair. I consider it in good condition but am only asking $16,000 so I can try to get rid of it quickly as there is a car that I'm seriously looking at and I don't want to let it slip out of my hands.

I've been doing this for the past few years and the online community has always shown their support so I'm asking yet again for some donations towards Autism Awareness. Please, help me support the cause by clicking below and donating a few dollars to my site. I'm sure everyone understands the disease but if you don't, do a quick google search and you will be amazed at the rising number of kids that deal with the disability. Although I personally don't know someone with Autism directly, I will be walking to support my wife as she is a teacher for special needs children and works with Autistic kids all the time. Took some pictures for hopefully my last Mini photo contest (I'm trying to sell it). It's been months and months since I've even thought of taking the camera out so I was a bit rusty in my technique. I doubt I'll find a buyer on here but the time has come to move into something a little bigger so I must sell my Mini. I absolutely love this car, it is quick, handles like it's on rails, is comfy, and in my opinion looks very good.

I had to chuckle... why is Lady GaGa- Bad Romance a related video?

 

I'm not sure which one I'd take. I've always been a sucker for the red cars but that Cuda is sawweeeeeeet!

I had a '98 M3/4 a few years back that I absolutely loved. The m3 had always been one of my dream cars and this one was super clean. I ended up having to sell it to a buddy for way too low so I could pay for my tax return one year because it was unusually high. I had the full intention of buying it back until he let someone drive it and the backed the thing up to a telephone pole which fell on top of the car. Needless to say it was totaled. Fast forward a few months and my accountant was looking at my records for the previous year and found out that the people that did my taxes screwed up big time so instead of owing the government a large sum of money... they actually owed me.

 

Basically, I sold the car for nothing and lost a substantial amount of money just to get the quick sale. FML

Yea he does... Sherman loves the snow. Whenever we go out in a fresh snow he goes CRAZY. It's getting a little too deep for him now. haha

It's pretty crazy down here in Cincy too! I wish I could snap some pictures at work, but we've had to bring out loader out and haul away some snow around the parking lots because we don't have anywhere else to put it! It looks like there'll be another round this weekend and next week as well.

 

Should have had the Winter Olympics here... at Perfect North! :grin2:
