Update. Surgery went fine. Turns out his ankle was also broken. Home now and in good spirits. Don't even know if the driver realized what had happened.

OR member quessimasquid went down this morning on his way to work. Not really sure about the details, but I was told he was either cut off or run off the road. He was on St. Rt. 40 West of Springfield when the crash occurred. Went to surgery at 12:30p to get a shiny new titanium rod and plate installed in his lower leg. Per his wife no other injuries were sustained. He will be in the hospital for a couple of nights.
