  1. I haven't been on the site in a while so I am re-introducing myself... I have 2 COMPLETE and running 2-stroke 750-triple H2's (1973 & 1975)and a 1986 ZX600R Ninja...

TONS of parts that I began accumulating back in 1980... engines, cases, cranks... SEVEN sets of expansion chambers!

Does anyone have any idea what this kind of collection is worth?

    Thanks much

  2. welcome, so i feel dumb asking this but what exactly are 2 stroke triples and what is their advantage?

Sorry for the delay in a response there bro...but like our fellow biker stated...the 1972-1975 Kawasaki "H2" triple (affectionately known in the cycle world as "The Widowmaker") is like 3 250cc dirt bikes strapped onto one frame...the torque is phenominal! With a top speed of only about 100-110 MPH...there is still very few bikes (or cars for that matter) that can touch these things "out of the hole"...and some of the 1969-1976 H1's (500cc triple) were even scarier!

The Widowmaker is THE primary reason that Harley rider's hate Japanese-made bikes...they were crushing the local drag-strip competition right off the showroom floors!

But sadly, most widowmaker's were wrecked, and discarded many years ago...as they were very scary and hard to ride...kind of like driving a wheelbarrow! But if you keep the speed down...they remain a real thrill...especially if your girl likes to ride...the inline triple is inherrently unbalanced and vibrates like CRAZY! :)~

  3. Thanks to all for the greetings! It's nearly time to break out the hardware...including the VINTAGE H2's...there are a couple of outings I take them to...but obviously they are hard to ride any great distance! I'm going to try to figure out how to post some pics here...
