Thanx bro
-
i could do it in an hour if i knew were in union county it was, maybe i'll just print out a picture and go ask some locals. of course it's supposed to rain for the next 3 days
-
it's a university in mount vernon, with is near centerburg
-
it's a school near the center of ohio
-
that depends on where you live, it's not south for me
-
ok guys, here's the new location
-
it is a pretty nice view, i had no idea it existed until this picture, the only reason i knew how to find it was because i recognized morrill and lincoln tower in the background and knew it had to be west of kenny and somewhere around lane.
-
ok it's not the exact same spot because i didn't feel like parking in some random persons lawn, but it's the same street looking over the same area.
i've circled areas in both pics that match up to help you see it's the same spot
i'll get the next spot posted tomorrow

Where the hell is everybody?! Get riding!!!
it's been raining a lot the past week so there haven't been many opportunities to ride, unless you happen to like getting soaked and riding on slippery surfaces.

condition #3: First person to reach the location, get a photo of their bike at the site and post it gets to choose the next location that is to be found
-
i love the sound of this game, but i have no idea where this place is
someone find it and tag another one so i can get in on this, hopefully.
-
thanks for all the input guys.
Are you set on sticking with a 250?yes, i like small light bikes, and i have a very limited price range.
-
So I've got someone trying to sell me their 1989 ninja 250 with 4700 miles on it (yes it's actually that low). it needs some minor work like replacing the spark plugs and cleaning the carbs, but other than that is in really good condition. How much do you think this bike is worth?
-
so here's what i did, i went to advanced auto and bought an electric turn signal relay, not a thermal one, unplugged the old one, after spending five minutes trying to get to it, and then plugged in the new one. problem solved, at least until the wire from the left rear signal got messed up.
-
oh, well that's easy, i'll hit advanced auto up tomorrow and then let you all know how things go when school slows down enough to work on my bike again.
-
how much resistance would i need?
-
i haven't gotten around to pulling the relay off yet to check it yet, but here's something to chew on: i'm running normal incandescent bulbs in the back but LEDs in the front i may not be pulling enough wattage to make the relay work properly, because the relay is probably the old fashion mechanical type that depends on the proper wattage being pulled through it to actually function.
-
so when i turn either of my turn signals on they don't blink they just stay lit, both front and back. do i just need a new turn signal relay?
-
dude, you rock.

Car and little Laser bike tangled at Naughten and Cleveland in front of CSCC campus. Front wheel shattered it's spokes. Rider reported to have broken leg and transported. Might have been a CCAD student. I didn't recognize the Laser.
i almost saw that accident happen, as in i missed the actual collision but i saw the immediate aftermath and then stayed around to watch the cops and ems clog the entire intersection and piss everyone one off. i'm glad to hear that he only broke a leg tho, looked like it could've been a lot worse.
oh ya, and i'm also a bicyclist and when i'm on my bicycle and i wave to other cyclist they never wave back, the bicycle community just isn't the same.

My shop just did an oil change on an 05 (not too different) and just to let you know there was no oil filter, just a screen that is inside the oil pump. Its a bitch to get too so they recommend every 12 000 miles. Just use 10w40 i would say.
i'm glad that you know how to do an oil change on a rebel but i don't, so how about some hints about the actual process. is there just a screw, or something, on the bottom that i gotta unscrew and let all the oil drain out?
thanx for the resources reconrat.

i have an old '85' honda rebel, but no owner's manual. can anyone out there tell me how to do an oil change and what weight oil i need?
-
ok guys, thanx for all your help, i now have all my lights working properly. the break light just needed some connections cleaned, and the tail light i just ended up wiring to the brights instead of having it wired to the ignition switch.
-
Hondajt: all the wires are connected properly from tip to tail. thanx for the tip tho.
ReconRat: first off, thank you for the detailed reply. second, i've checked all the wire connections and none of them are loose or corroded, which is somewhat amazing considering all the wires behind the headlight are exposed. third, the fuses are fine and so are their connection. that's what i know for sure.
i'm inclined to belive that the wires themselves are fine because they're all bunched togather and wrapped in plastic wire housing where they run thru the bike. i'm also inclined to believe, at this point, that my ignition switch is somewhat messed up, because the tail light doesn't always work when the key is in the park position, but if you turn it back towards the run position ever so slightly the tail light turns on. also i have a new symptom, my brake light isn't working anymore.
my next plan of action is to get an VOM and start testing wires to make sure they are actually getting power so i can hopefully determine where the problem is. i also might buy a new ignition switch.
