It's one of those things it would be awesome to have, but kind of hard to justify getting.

Then set aside the correct amount of time. If you know you have a date at 7pm, don't wait until 6pm to start getting ready if it takes you forever. Maybe start getting ready at like noon. That gives you plenty of time to get ready, not like what your wearing, change 10 times, redo your hair 7 times and fix your makeup 4 times. You should be able to know enough about yourself to be able to plan ahead for the date.

I think that would cool to see. Reenactments and dramatizations are always fun and interesting to watch.

Yeah, I don't think most guys like that. My dad always told me not to go out with a girl that spends hours getting ready and wears lots of make up. One day you'll wake up next to her, she won't be wearing make up and you'll freak because you won't recognize her. If you (not specifically you Holly) are that insecure in how you look, then that a huge no-go for many guys. You should like who you are, not try to be someone you aren't. At first it might be, "oh, she wants to look good for me" but after awhile we just see it as a huge waste of time and you trying to hide your true self from us.

Just did a quick search and found out the second from the top is a German WWII bayonet.

Thanks. It's actually a M-1917 though which is just a slightly modified 1913. It was my grandpa's. He always had it hanging above the fireplace. It's in really nice shape and still sharp. I like yours. I do want to get a British 1913 model someday as well as a British model restamped by the US. The second one from the bottom is an Iraqi bayonet I bought while I was over there. The other two I'm not really sure about yet. I need to research them.
