I blew the engine up in my 1995 Ninette several years ago and it's been sitting in the garage since then but after seeing this I may need to buy this and revive the old girl..lol    I had a nut fall off one of the connecting rods and over time due to metal fatigue the clamp gave up and as you can image the engine didn't fair too well.   I had about 30K on the engine too though so that's unusual for these little bikes as you find most in this condition.  

DS rider here too.   I hardly ever get on this site though.    Too many damn forums to keep up with..lol    Sorry Pokey, like others I spend most of my time on ADVrider.  lol

Its a cool road but take forever to get there. We like watching the locks at work at the other end.

Yeah, I've only ridden it twice now because of living on the other side of the state.   The first time I rode over there just to ride 536.  Got a ticket too on 78 right before getting onto 536.  

question: maybe  a stupid one; does everyone hug the yellow or white line when running back roads?

I would have hit that semi if I was hugging the yellow line.     Not a good idea anytime IMO.  You need to give yourself an escape route and maneuvering space.

Were you at the ST owner's club event this past weekend? We met some guys at Lake Hope Cabins on Friday and saw about 60 ST's.
