  1. Im not sure how the dealership is,or how the prices are set, but the one experience I've had with the "owner" was pretty crazy. A few months back, I politely... and I do mean politely, asked them to stop overposting craigslist. It seemed like they were posting about 20 bikes a day, and it was getting out of hand. This was before the new CL dealer-private sale split up. Anyway.. Someone named Mitch (who claimed to be the owner) emailed me back, and totally went off...He started ranting about how he knows the owner of craigslist.... and how he was personal friends with that family, and went on and on about how he was special, and how he didnt have to follow the CL terms of use.. then he started accusing me of single handedly flagging all his ads down, after he had worked hours and hours on posting them... It was insane.. This guy IS A LOON!!! who ever he is. If he is in fact the owner, is certifiable.. I would be reluctant to buy anything from a business whos owner, IMHO was totally dilusional....

  2. Okay.. Im not pointing a fingure at you.. I just think that the Islamic and Muslim people as a whole, arent doing enough to put a stop to there own extremists. You dont see christian extremists doing anywhere near the damage that Islamic/Muslim terrorists do. If our govt even gets wind of an American group they think are terror orgs.. they put them down... right or wrong. Remember Waco, Ruby Ridge and more... I think the American people would put down a Christian extremist group responsible for something like 911.. If they didnt agree with it. Thats what makes me wonder about the average Middle eastern. Take some responsibilty as a Middle Eastern Muslim, and take action against extremist terrorism. I would like to see action instead of buck passing.

  3. I honestly think you guys should do more than "speak up" about terrorism. I think you should go back to the homeland, band together, root the terror groups out of the caves, and put them down.. I'm sure that you and/or your fellow countrymen know who, and where they are. Stop talking, and go do something about it.

  4. Weekends suck, cops all over, squids and cruisers cluttering it up.

I'd go early morning through the week, to hit the actual Dragon...have it pretty much to yourself without Johnny Law there. IMHO, the road itself is fun, but there are a lot of roads down there that are equally fun to ride, and ignored by most of the people that visit. Pretty much any state route in the immediate area and most of the ancillary roads are great....it's almost a waste to go and just hit the Dragon.

    Ditto!

  5. When I created this format (yep.....this was my brainchild...) it was intended to be a 15 min warm up for I and 15 min warm up for A and then open track until dusk. It was also for EXPERIENCED Intermediate and Advanced riders only and would only work if not overbooked. The limit I set that I felt was safe and fun was 45 riders total pretty much equally divided between I and A riders..

By spliting the groups into two (I and A) the venue can increase the amount of riders and make a a lot more money. Of course you get only half the track time and then it's not a Maxtime event it is more of a three session LED. Still a fun evening of rocking the track!

Thanks Monte... Sure do miss you guys.

  6. I was there..They Split A from I and ran 30 minute intervals. I thought it was going to be an open track too. Guess Brent wanted to see how it would work. I think there was mixed feedback on splitting the classes, but I think it worked this time. Brent stopped by our garage (9) and told us his timers were reporting the fastest riders and the slowest riders were 30 seconds apart. Thats enough reason for me to agree with the split. He may go to the open track format later in the season when everyone gets faster, and theres less gap in lap time. I think the A group would have been frustrated riding with the I's last night, and there definately would have been more crashes with traffic jams in corners and, guys and girls trying to keep up and ride above there skill level.... Just wish they would start earlier.

  7. My last TD I had lunch with a guy that was riding from track to track in his GSXR600. He had soft luggage and, i guess a roll of tape. He was leaving Mid O and heading to carolina motorsports park. And get this... He was at least 60 years old. Also.. he was passing me all day.Im not that fast, but that shit impressed me. So.. You can ride to track days.
