Still looking for work. But I have been getting a few calls about jobs, just no interviews yet. Other than that, riding when I can and crying when it rains. Can't wait for the warmer weather! 50 is ok but when it gets down into the 30's at night it kinda limits my ride time to daylight only.
But this is a far cry from last month. When just the effort of shoveling the snow off the bike was so overwhelmingly depressing it made me want to seek help from my local bartender.
We both cried into our beers and toasted the change of the seasons in loud manly voices. He is getting his KTM super moto ready for the season. Finaly a bike slower than mine on the highway! Ought to be an interesting summer!

The cold isn't the worst it's the snow and ice. I got to thinking of your new tires on the scooter and wondered if you have been out in the snow with it?

There are two basic sizes for motorcycle headlights 5-3/4 inch and 7 inch lenses.
Yours I believe is a 7" bulb. Motorcycle light lenses (the part you see that collects bugs) mount differently than car headlights, they are not interchangeable. Also the lens pattern can be different than stock for a different light pattern on the road. I included both sizes in my search on ebay just in case I was wrong about the size of yours.
As far as wattage of the actual bulbs 55/60 watts is standard. Replacement bulbs are standard and can be bought at any auto parts store for about $7.00. The standard size uses the same amount of electricity so you don't have to do any re-wiring of the bike and the stock plug fits right on it so it's a very simple modification.

This was included to refer to the Great Depth Charging of Cleveland Avenue.
An event where I was carrying water bottles on the back of my bike under a cargo net and then hit a bump and the bottles came out like depth charges.
Looney who was behind me at the time referred to them as depth charges and so the myth was born...

Want to do a "Twilight ride" some time?
I heard you say you are full time student and work also.
Ok.
So what about a ride that started about 6pm and ended at 10pm?
Maybe, say 200 miles to the east with a experienced rider leading.
You could easily add group riding tech skills to your skill set.
I rely upon you to promote this idea with other girl riders.
Following a 30 year old bike can't be to tough.
