  1. I fixed it for him.

his tripple clamp was actually stripped out.

I had to go to the next sized up bolt and tap the hole. thank god we have a great hardware store around here.

that's good. that damn china scoot i bought last year had stripped bolts straight from the factory. so i had to drill and tap some too. glad i got rid of it. your buddy's lucky to have a mechanically inclined friend. glad to hear it's all fixed and he's ridin' safe now

  2. this is far from fancy or Home made but excellent. if you've ever had Denny's Swiss steak, tastes just like it.

    --ground beef, or chuck

    --1 onion

1 sm. pkg. fresh button mushrooms

    sliced swiss cheese

    McCormick brown gravy mix

fry burger patties like you usually would, sautee sliced mushrooms and onions in olive oil until they just begin to caramelize

top patties with sliced swiss cheese amd melt(provolone works well too)

prepare gravy mix according to package directions. top patties and cheese with mushrooms and onions and smother the whole thing with gravy.

there is no measuring, so you don't have to calculate anything according to how many you're serving. excellent with homemade mashed potatoes and Broccoli .

  3. I don't have any bolts missing on mine (yet) but then I haven't really checked it over' date=' hmmmm. Where is this clip the OP is talking about that ended up missing?[/quote']

you won't have clip ons on your bike. the fz6r has normal handle bars. the r6's and all other race replica bikes have seperate handles (2) that "clip on" to each fork individually.

  4. sweet jesus....

i know it's a bit obsessive for me, but they are all well taken care of. granted it takes at least 2 hrs to do water changes on all my aquariums just in the 1 room in my basement, not to mention the 6 tanks on the 1st floor. the lizards are easy and it takes some time thawing mice and feeding each individual snake. the bugs don't take that much time to feed and water.

  5. I'm just telling a story about a friends bike. as he doesn't look at things very closely. and this is what I found wrong with his bike in about 3 min of looking at it.

he was riding it around with no bolt holding the one fork on. you just had the handle bar one gone. which is dangerous, but not as dangerous as the fork being loose.

ooohhh. i see. yeah that's crazy. did he get it all fixed after you pointed it out to him? they must not put loctite on the bolts at the factory or during prep then huh.

  6. its a yamaha..you didnt expect a bullet proof gsxr did ya

i actually almost had my mind set on a 09 orange and black gixxer 600 but they didn't have the 09's in yet and when i walked in the orange r6 caught my eye months ago. and i just couldn't forget about it, plus even with price match the r6 ended up being about a grand cheaper if they'd have matched the gixxer.i'm quite pleased with it.

  7. for all you herp owners, here's a bizarre escapee story. one of our corn snakes escaped about a month ago. all my snakes (with the exception of my son's ball python) are housed in the basement. anyway, i just about gave up looking for her when while sitting on the porch last night at about 2am,i heard a bird ,who has a nest in the birdhouse mounted to the side of our porch , start making an awful noise. i looked over to see my escapee corn in the birdhouse, constricting momma bird. i couldn't save the bird but retreived my snake.what are the chances!?

  8. Matched price < delivered to your door

Oh yeah, glad you're ok :D

the dealer is like 3-4 miles from my house. good excuse to ride my bike down there. and no shipping charge.but she had to pay tax, which i wouldn't have if i'd have ordered it. either way, i'll be glad to get the Klingon warship of a fender off my bike.
