Okay.. so this isnt my car my second wife's.. car..(my fiancees best friend i end up fixing thinsg for her often..) okay so here is the deal.. Well the problem is intermittent...and always starts right back up its a late 90s 4 cylinder. i can tell its never really been taken care of with to much effort.. i noticed the wires are new. i didnt check the plugs i just assumed.. i plan on checking out a few things rotor, dist cap and the plugs.. the air filter is dirty i know that.. i took it out and it was still doing the same thing.. does anyone know if this is a common thing? or what else it could be other than what im checking?

i Have only written a front plate ticket 1 time.. why? the guy was a prick.. driving a hummer doing 18 over in a 55.. i walked up and he started some crap about isnt it a law you have to wear a hat when out of your car.. blah blah.. i asked him why he didnt have a front plate on.. he said never had one i asked.. plan on putting one on.. Nope.. he said.. Okay then.. i wrote him for speed and the plate.. Moral of the story "dont be a dick"

Wanna take bets that it wont get passed??? I ALSO hate them.. however.. they have good reasons for them.. Think of it like this.. someone commits a serious crime in his own car(happens all the time) gets caught on video maybe him having a front plate could help lead to his arrest by increasing the ways of identifying him by surveillance and bystanders... i really just dont see it getting passed in ohio.. i sure do hope so though

Update.. getting new 3 tires to the previous owner put 1 new on im getting 3 more so they all match the 1 is still almost new... needs one tie rod end. i will be doing this when i get time.. i also bought new plugs, wires, rotor, dist cap and air filter. will be doing the tune up as soon as it warms up.. does have a occasional miss on cyl number 2 giving a check engine light. *(had it checked today)
