    I'm 5'9" and the 17.5 fits me great, I wouldn't want it any taller. It would also depend on how long your legs are.

    Yes really, take a bike that is already twitchy on the front and make it worst makes all kinds of sense.

    The one I have is 12" but it's too long (god these are getting bad). I know I have to take some off but I will check.

    As you lower the front, the front tire gets closer to the bike that is how it is shortened. Even with lowering the rear it is still closer to the frame. It's a triangle and you keep shortening 2 legs, the 3 has to get shorter too.

    It will at speed as you are going to shorten the wheelbase. Riding though town will probably never notice, hitting the twisties at speed the bike will get twitchy.

    Depends on the pressure you are running and what you are doing. To crash from a low tire would have to be super low (under 20).

    That's because he thought they were going too slow, tried to let his group gap him and charged into the corner and crashed as he almost hit the guy in front of him. There was also the guy on a zx10 testing the traction in the wet and yard saled his bike out of 4. It does happen, mostly due to riders doing dumb shit.

    Fixed that for you, there are tires designed to work as low as 20psi.
