Cool show, makes me appreciate the company a bit more.. but also wonder how they got so far away from their roots of being innovative, race-bred, go-anywhere machines. I'll watch the 3rd one tonight either way.
They still race drag and flat track. H-D is fairly dominant in the NHRA Drag Circuit

Anyone have a need for some racing stands? I've got a pair (front and back) that I don't need anymore. Great for winter storage and maintenance tasks. $50?
too big to ship, so be local to Northeast Ohio.

Nice!

Sorry, sold 'em

Have a set of saddle bags and tail bag for sale. $50 and they are yours.

Getting ready to sell/trade my 2008 Versys. I have a Corbin seat with low miles I'd like to find a good home for... make a fair offer and it's yours

Well now I'm offended! SCREW YOU!
You know I was kidding, right? I didn't mean to break the forum.

MarkB. My comment was directed at YSR_RACER not you. LOL
Well now I'm offended! SCREW YOU!

MarkB,
My apologies if you took offense to my post. I wasn't intending to bash you. Enjoy the bike. I was having some fun and venting some general frustrations. No ill intent was meant.

None taken...

LOL. Dude is just not wanting to fuck up a loaner bike. Relax hombre.
It's a bit more than a loaner bike, it's a company owned vehicle... and yeah, I don't really want to fuck it up.
But by the sounds of it I am overthinking it...

So, I'm heading to Milwaukee for work and I am lucky enough to be able to borrow a bike while I'm there. The problem is that it's a 2015 CVO Street Glide and 2x the weight of my current bike.
Any advice on making a smooth transition?

Welcome back! I'm in Lyndhurst, too, so I'll keep my eyes open for you... I interviewed with that Harley in Valleyview exactly a year ago... Got the job, too, but went with another offer. I'd love to hear how you like it! (If you see Todd, from QA, tell him Josh says "hello!")
My team works with Todd's so I'll tell him you said hi.
Out of curiosity, what was the other offer? I've been there 6 weeks and it's the most amazing place I've working in nearly 20 years of IT.
-
HD actually has an IT unit in Valley View, 75+ full time employees. I still will have to make the occasional trip to the MotherShip.
Discount is good, but have to wait 6 months... so I'll be riding my Versys to HD for the summer unless I come across a better deal than my discount.

I'm doing great man, took a step away from some things, took a step towards others. Landed my dream job at Harley-Davidson and everything is coming up roses... How are you?
-
It's been a while, but I'm back... Cleveland guy on a Versys for now. Selling it this year and getting a Harley (I started working for HD last week as an IT Manager)
Anyone wanna buy a 2008 Versys?
Glad to be back...

...except in this case... I tried to tell her the benefits of wearing gear... but I forgot my name... and how to speak...

Business Admin w/ an IS focus is fine... I'm currently interview people with that same degree for position on a Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing team... the degree doesn't matter so much... just that you have one... shows you can learn shit. Akron has a great internship program... I don't know about Cleveland state.
For the record... I'm a Business Intelligence Architect... Assoc. in Computer Programming and a BA in Communication.

the best part about them is that Skullcandy stand behind the product with a lifetime warranty... I've had two sets fail on me and I've gotten two free sets as replacements.

Congrats! I'll be married 10 years this coming November and if you've got the right girl, and commit to communicate and work through everything it's an awesome ride!
...and I dare you in your vows to go the Sons of Anarchy route... "I vow to treat you like my leather and ride you more than my Harley"

I'm a maybe... and hopefully my wife won't need stitches that day and I can finish the ride!
