The track was Exotics own track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was finished in 2012 i believe. Its a great little track. If i remember right the LP-700 got up to 120-130mph in the straight. Nothing crazy. Taking the corners at 80mph was pretty wild though.

So, I got to experience something I've been wanting to do for years, but just could never justify it cause of cost and no time to do it. I tour manage a band and every so often there are some great perks to the job. This one in particular was right up my ally. We went and flogged some of the most expensive and exotic cars on the planet for hours on end...for free. :megusta: The bands general manager contacted his friend that owns Mothers Polish/Exotics Racing and let him know we were coming into Vegas for a show. They set us up with the VIP treatment and we got to choose between the awesome selection of exotics they have there. The track was almost completely empty and we had the fleet of 40+ exotics at our choosing. I chose 10 laps in the Aventador, 5 Laps in the GTR and 10 laps in the LP-570 Superleggera. Each car had a video that records the laps/driver. I would post them if I had CD drive, but i don't. It was easily one of the coolest experiences I've had in the last few years. Heres some pictures from the track. The professional driver that rode shotgun with me was awesome and really taught me a lot about how I can really trust a car like that. My natural tendencies were to brake early and turn early. I never would have guessed these cars are as capable as they are. Its incredible. Now all I can do is think about buying one for mid-ohio. PS - Yeah, I'm getting a GTR for my next car. Its incredible. Its like a sledge hammer as where the LP-570 is awesome but incredibly precise. But it looks sooooooo good. Your probably right though. On the other hand I drive an STi...so clearly power or looks or handling or really anything significant wasnt on my list.

Whats really sad is Ford putting good seats in their performance cars and Subaru WRX/STi still getting complete shit seats, shit 305hp, shit tune, ect. These things will keep me from buying another one. I think I'm going the Audi RS5 or GTR next time and I won't be so disappointed in a car.
