  1. Looks like it might be the best thing to come out of Chevy in a while. With a 100K powertrain and diesel, this is a very interesting proposition. EDIT: According to this: http://tinyurl.com/d9y5v3p They are accepting orders?
  2. Knew it was coming... Sorry Earth.
  3. Gotta say, definitely better than last year. Suspension changes FTW.
  4. 14th = Autocross day. Cars should be driven, not parked and stared out! :fuckyeah:
  5. I'll take a iced Chai from Cup O Joe @ Cars N Coffee. THANK YOU
  6. What kids typically do to those cars isn't exactly what I would call productive. What will be the next "civic si"? Probably whatever Advanced auto parts sells wings and chrome intakes for would be my guess.
  7. Parts store? It's called dealer or mail order. GET WITH THE TIMES BRO.
  8. This couldn't be any further from the truth. In recent years where every tenth of a MPG is important, more R&D has gone into intake/exhaust than before. They have gotten to the point to electronically controlling oil flow and reducing main bearing contact area to reduce drag. Noise pipes and other things aren't restrictive to the intake as much as channel specific noises out, or move certain ones into the cabin.
  9. I don't have launch control and turn off stability control, does that make my car fun again?
  10. We are talking about brand new pricing. A 94 MK4 Supra Turbo's base price was 44K. Inflation adjusted, that's nearly 70K today. The 09 GTR was 76k. Closer than you might imagine. Even a RT/TT back in 91 was 33k+
  11. And the 300million+ people here all feel a bit safer. http://i.imgur.com/MgT9I9b.jpg Living in an advanced society has it's benefits, enjoy them while you can people.
  12. In all seriousness the B8 was 56k. I didn't even have it a year though. Total payment into car = not nearly as much as you'd imagine. :gabe:
  13. Not sure I've ever seen anyone refer to a late 90's f body as a drivers car.
  14. I remember the great burnouts you did in your old white camaro at the track day. The giant slicks which poured smoke out of the wheel wells during a pass. I also recall a 4100lb+ 4 door luxury car with a 3.0L V6 with nothing but a tune violating it without so much as a squeak or noise. :gabe: Tell me again about your tire smoke.
  15. Advances in technology are ALWAYS better, and beneficial to society. Today people are living longer, and surviving things that were impossible 50 years ago. Today you can have an executive car that stock, runs 11's has wifi service, can climb an icy hill, and give you the most comfortable ride, outside of a lazy boy getting 26mpg. All on the same set of all seasons and a little 4.0L motor. Only reason that is possible is technology.
