Holy crap, almost $1000 for a jacket?

Klim gear is great. Lots of protection, good venting and 100% waterproof. I have the Latitude jacket and pants a couple years ago I left Gettysburg in the rain headed for Ohio when I got to Pittsburgh it was raining so hard cars on the highway had pulled over. When I got home I was 90% dry. My gloves leaked and some water went up my sleeve, and some water came in around my neck. My chest and balls were both dry. I have owned 3 other sets of waterproof gear and none have been ever close to as good as the Klim.

So no other things to purchase to make these work on the app?

Nope plug and play. I can't figure out how to post a picture on here but I figured out the cameras and the app. The night vision is pretty good. I have one camera set up behind a outdoor motion light and the video with that one is real good. if you have wifi at home I see no reason why anyone would not have cameras.

  3. I put 4 of these up a year ago around my house https://www.ebay.com/itm/Zmodo-4-Pack-HD-Wireless-IP-Outdoor-IR-Video-Surveillance-Security-Camera-System/302691174055?hash=item4679ccc6a7:g:InQAAOSwE9haxI6K easy to set up and work great. It so nice being away from home and checking to make sure the garage door is shut or the wood stove is not over heating. Nice seeing who is in the driveway and I sure sleep a lot better knowing if someone is outside I will get a alert. If I was going to do it again I would get the recorder option. My phone keeps the motion alerts for 36 hours but once in a while it will miss something.

  4. If you want to stay dry in all day rain Klim is the way to go. I rode home from Gettysburg in the rain 2 summers ago and it was raining so hard outside of Pittsburgh cars were pulling off the road. I stayed dry other then my hands, neck and feet. I have owned 4 other sets of water proof gear including First Gears top of the line jacket and pants  and have always got wet in the elbow, chest and balls. The Klim seems way over priced for a jacket with no liner and it takes a while to break in but being dry is worth it.

  5. Damn the black truck is nice also. I couldn't find a 4 door 4x4 that was wasn't beat to shit or a rust bucket so I bought a 2x4. Spent its winters in the south up until 4 years ago and I have kept it out of the salt as well. Sure is worthless off road. It was stuck in that picture. Had to pull it with the tractor.

  6. I had 2 life flight rides 2 year apart and medical mutual covered 90% of both of them. I added a extra rider at work for accidents a month before my 2nd crash but it didn't take effect until Jan. 1st. I crashed in Nov. That was 2 years ago and so far haven't needed it. The first crash state farm would only cover my helmet 2 years later they covered all my gear other then my heated liner. Boots, gloves, pants, jacket and helmet. Very thankful health insurance or I would be living in a box under a bridge. $100k for the first one and I was only in the hospital a week close to that for the 2nd.

  7. I turned down the accident policy at work and right after that broke my leg, the next year I passed on it again and the boy broke his ankle, next year I give in and sign up. Crash and break my collar bone. Thinking to myself this is going to pay off. Turns out I crashed in Nov. it didn't start until Jan. Son of a bitch. No accidents last year.

  8. I had my gear cut off both times. First time all that was cover was my helmet 2nd time all my gear was covered. State Farm for 5 bikes. Medical insurance paid for most of the life flight rides. I did get a cool pair of sun glasses from the first ride. 2nd ride I was knocked out and don't remember a single thing,

  9. We were going up the water fall this summer on bikes ( always heard that is a NO NO ) and 2 tree cops were coming down on ATVs I figured it was going to be bad. He just pointed at my helmet and said to put my visor down. First time I ever saw them on the trails.

  10. I had my lower leg crushed by a truck in a motorcycle crash 3 years. Spent 6 months off work, had to learn to walk again, still have pain all the time. I still feel like keeping my leg was the best option. You will heal the body is a amazing thing, Just takes time. I was back on the bike before I could walk. Had to pay for gas at the pump and get on the bike from the wrong side since I couldn't put weight on my left leg.

  11. I bought the Klim Latitude jacket and pants over a year ago and Love it. There was no way I could spend that much $ on gear without trying it on. Its hard to find a Klim dealer in ohio with much selection but I found a BMW dealer up north that has a nice selection. I have had 3 other sets of " water proof " gear and they are a joke. Even the $500 TPG stuff leaks. Rode home from Gettysburg last summer in rain all the way and was dry when I got home. It was raining so hard in Pittsburgh cars were stopping on the highway. My son has the new TPG jacket and last summer we got caught in a down pour he was soaked I was dry. I don't think its any hotter then other good gear if anything it might flow air better or at least it sure feels like it on a cold day.  I still have cheap gear for dry days and local rides so hopefully my Klim investment will last for years.
