I have a friend in Fremont that I was in the Corps with. He got hit in the chest with a robin at about 35-40 MPH in just a t-shirt. (was on a HD sportster). Said you could see the outline of the head an beak in his chest surrounded by a nasty bruise.

Since it hit right at the top of my visor, it was sort of a glancing blow. Felt like I got hit with a cornhole bag. Wasn't going to fast really.

I am workin on a friends 01 R6 . I cleaned the carbs, new plugs, fresh gas, good fuel pressure. Turns over fine, but just won't start. Backfires once and a while. I guess he let someone borrow it, the guy dropped it at a stop sign, broke the brake handle, and wouldn't start. I've checked all the wiring and everything checks out. To me the only thing that's left is would be the cdi box right. Can you have them tested? Help me out.

Make sure ya check all your grounds, bad ground could give you a weak spark...your spark should be nice and blue, not weak and light orange...couldve tweaked something just enough to pinch a wire or knock a connector off just enough to piss ya off when ya find it ...just my 2 cents.

what does your hand sitting on the rear stand have to do with any of this. if your hand is on the rear stand, where is the bike?

I'd like to know the definitive word on this either cage or bike -

Ohio law (when I last looked into it) states that if a vehicle is going through an intersection and the light is yellow he or she may continue through even if it turns red.

The law doesn't appear to care if the light was yellow going in or not, just if its yellow and you're in the intersection go through.

I've been stopped 2 times once with a warning, once with a red light ticket when I saw the light turn from yellow to red in the rear view mirror of the GEO Storm I used to roll in.

I know that in ohio it is legal to go through the intersection as long as the light is yellow once you hit the white lines...in michigan on the other hand, it is illegal to run a yellow light.

I cleaned my carbs and while waiting for my dad to paint my plastics, i took mine out last week...30 degrees and it never felt better....anymore snow and im gonna vomit uncontrollably, lol
