To keep a long story short. I need someone to do my cam swap and tranny swap in my 07 classic Silverado. I've been working 25-35 hours of overtime a week. I don't have time to do it right now. I've contacted 2 or 3 places and it's "we'll get back to you with a quote" (which never comes). Can anyone suggest someone good that'll actually do the job?

Its a good game. Only problem I have been having is excessive lag... maybe that'll get figured out.

get you some wood. make a box for it.. Line inside with mylar.. might need a exhaust fan.. pretty cheap and blocks all light.

Sorry I got a little sidetracked last night to put up pics. I'm at work right now but I if I can recall they are 44 Euro. They are black with and the alpine star logo is white.

 

I put the boots on an rode around the block but they just felt too weird to me. It felt like it was more of a hassle to get to the shifter and I don't particuarly like walking around in them lol.

I got them when I bought my bike. I don't like the way they feel when I ride so I'm not going to use them. I was told they were only worn like twice, they look like it also. They are size 9.5. I can fit into them and I wear a 10.5-11 shoe so. I'd like to get 100 out of them. I'll get some pics when I get home from work.

that and if it has a plastic intake mani it might just be the valve train. Both of my camaros were/are that way.

See if you can get her parents policy showing her as a "named driver" and the car being covered and send it to your company. They may give you some money back because the car was already covered on another policy. Worth a shot.

 

I did that with my one of my cars.. I switched and for some reason they didn't cancel the policy and all I had to do was send in proof of insurance from when I said I had it and they refunded all the money.

I got these off my neighbor for 20 bucks thinking it would fit my bike. I didn't look at the package because mine is a 03.. First one with 20 takes em.

Yeah I was thinking about going out to jegs and picking one up. I have the texas speed 1 7/8 headers but I am gonna assume the pacesetter will fit too. I like the pacesetter because those two parts are crushed or bent so you can pick up a little more ground clearance

If its stock I'd probably leave it alone. But if you want it tuned the best way to do it would to bring it to either slow motion or dave blundell at zero lift (if he still is there) in cinci.

You'll be fine as long as you have a good tuner.

Thanks guys.. I might have to come up with something on my own I guess.. Its difficult because if they get caught working on a car with no cats they get a huge ass fine. The EPA or who ever governs it actually takes cars with no cats into shops and tries to get them to work on the car and if they do they get it in the ass. I'll call that solo muffler up.

I'd be interested in possibly storing a bike and my camaro there if it isn't too expensive.. I should be leaving for boot camp some time next year and I doubt my parents want 2 extra things sitting around their house.

So I'm tired of this stupid ass Texas Speed Y-pipe. I actually just ripped half of it off the car because it sits so low (fucking thing). Can any of you tell me a place that'll make me a better off road y pipe and not cost like 500 bucks?

Clean title, actual mileage, etc? Any accidents that you know of? body damage/rust? T-tops leak? What's the interior? Everything work? ac/cruise/pw/pdl/etc?

 

 

The title is clean, the milage is true. It is a little off but not much, just because I havn't had the speedo recalibrated yet. There are no accidents that I know of but when I got it one of the windows wasn't tinted. So I don't know if it was broken into or what (carfax claims no accidents but you know how that works). There isn't any rust that I could find, there are a few scratches and a little dent or two. Nothing horrible though. The t-tops let a few drips in when it rains real heavy. If its just a normal rain there are no problems. Everything works on the car except for the cruise control and the passenger mirror.

Yeah the only mod on the car was the exhaust when I got it hehe. Yep it has the carbon fiber interior stuff on it. I want to rip it off but I am guessing it would take a while to get all the residue off of it after I did that lol.

I still have the other set of wheels in the garage but they arn't in that good of condition. Which is the reason why I replaced them. But, yes they can come with it...

 

What springs are on it? That definitely looks lowered.

 

Did you by any chance purchase this car last winter from a dealer down near Cincy?

 

To be honest man I don't know which springs are on it. I agree that it is lowered. I just didn't do it so I can't tell you for sure. For your other question, yes I did get it off a dealer near Cinci last winter.

Alright, lets see here. The car has almost 78k miles on it. Runs great, never had any problems with her. Also has a few mods done. SLP lid, texas speed 1 7/8 headers, Off road Y pipe, borla exhaust, and motive 4.10 gears. It also has a little tune which was done by Mr. Rutan. I also put new pads and rotors on the car earlier this year (may/june). The wheels are pretty much new. They are c6 c06 replicas (18x9.5 all around) and pretty much have no milage on them (no burn outs too, lol).

 

I'm only selling it because I don't really drive it that much and I'd like to get a small truck so I can get a dirt bike and start doing that. As for what I'm asking... I just want to pay off my loan on the car. I havn't looked at the balance since I bought the car but I am guessing it's right around the 8k (maybe a little less). So that'll be my asking price, 8k which I don't think is a bad deal for this car. Alright, about a month or two ago I put some long tubes and a ORY pipe on the camaro. I've had these 2 catalytic converters sitting on my garage floor long enough. Can any one please tell me where I can go to get these things outta my garage? I know I can get a few bucks out of them because people are stealin them off cars at my work like crazy lol.

I can't help you with the oil pressure thing. I was thinking along the lines of what SS said.. but I think im going to end up with the texas speed torquer 3 and either prc or tea 5.3L heads as soon as I start getting full paychecks again....
