  2. Hopefully this wasn't someone from OR...

Hello fellow riders, i want to make everyone aware of the scams that are going on to steal your motorcycle. On friday the 25 i was received a phone call from a guy who said he had just gotten back from iraq and was looking to get a motorcycle. I was selling my 07 R1. He said he didnt have a car and couldnt make it out my way, being the nice day it was my girlfriend and a friend of mine took the trip down to Niles. The guy met me at the Dicks Sporting good off of 422. When he showed up he played the soldier look to the fullest. He had 7500 in cash and liked the bike. He said mind if we go for a test ride i said sure but i held his military ID. This guy led me out on to so back country road then on to the highway. after we went down the high way about 3 miles he led me to the far left lane and as we went around the turn he darted of the exit. This was the last i saw my bike. These thieves are professional and had everything planned out. Im sure i will never see my bike again. The point of this whole thing is DONT TRUST ANYONE!!! I even thanked this guy for serving our country and then he stole my bike... An ongoing investigation is in the process..

THE PICTURE BELOW IS MY BIKE, if you ever see this bike please call me ASAP... 315-209-2503 thanks Cody

  3. she might be criminally responsible anyway. She did break the traffic law... I haven't looked at OH's homicide statues, but it could be a question of murder vs. manslaughter.

the real question will be whether or not using a phone makes her "extremely reckless" (could mean murder) and acting with disregard for human life. The court will have to consider local custom as well, so I doubt they'll be so bold as to say "everyone who uses a phone while driving is automatically being criminally reckless."

i'm on a conference call at work, but I'll try to pull up the OH statutes before I leave...

while this incident is unfortunate at best, a "murder" charge is out of the question. That charge requires a "mens rea" , or latin for intent, which wasn't the case, and even 1st degree manslaughter (the 2nd highest homicide charge) wouldn't apply here because again, no intent. She was likely charged with involuntarily manslaughter which involves no intent but a reckless disregard for human life.

  4. Cool. Looks like a good time to re-up.

Recon. You ready to break out the M-1 Garand. :D

Just make sure your killstreaks are set appropriately. I would go with predator missile, harrier strike, and AC-130.

  5. Then dont come on here talking shit about Busa's only go in a straight line asshat.

Hey Zixxer, welcome to the site from a fellow noob. And take anything sambozo says with a grain of salt. He typifies the term "that guy".

  6. Since I have around 20 posts, I can freely speak for the majority of riders here on this forum. Firstly, that Cafe' racer is a nice bike, but we tend to steer our interest more towards Dual Sport Bikes.:scooter:

I'm fairly certain this was meant with a pinch of sarcasm... I've been wrong before though, once.

  7. id assume same as you do in GTA. shoot him or beat him with your bat. get in his car, take off and run down a few pedestrians on the way. make sure to jump out of the car before it explodes so you dont die.

carjack the first person you come to, then hit up the pay n spray.

wanted level gone. now you're on your way to pick up a hooker.

Your GTA proficiency is top rate my friend. Sometimes it's also fun to hit the strip club while brandishing a bazooka, the bouncers get all feisty for some reason.

  8. Anyone have any theoretical strategies on "running from da fuzz". I've always imagined the scenario where I'm riding on the highway a little over the limit, spot a cop without reacting quickly enough to slow down, and then anticipate him lighting me up. If someone were to attempt losing him, what would be your strategy? (in an imaginary world of course) I have perfected this art in GTA Vice City however!

  9. Being a resident of the fine city of North Ridgetucky, the local law enforemcent has at times been a tad overzealous in their efforts to protect and server. But I will say that when I had my accident, they were great with me and my family. But these claimes here are not unfounded, or unfortuantely inaccurate by any stretch from what mine eyes have seen.

As a former Ridgetucky Ranger also, I have to say the Super Trooper style tactics they are adopting are only in attempts to keep the city from becoming another Lorain or Elyria... no offense to my friends who reside in the aforementioned but damn. I'll take a little extra heat from the 50 in the place of what goes on in Lorain.
