  1. The director of PR called me this afternoon. She was very concerned, very upset that it happened and upset with the toll booth operators response. Over the next couple of days I will be hearing from the director of toll booth people, the head of the group that makes the ez-pass system and most importantly their insurance company to pay for the helmet and windshield. We spent a long time talking about how it happened and what could have gone wrong. There is a possibility that I will be meeting their tech people one day for testing.

Very professional and no hassles. I am pleasantly surprised.

Great follow up. Most people would just of let it go. Let us know how it turns out. Cause I really would like to use my EZ-Pass on the bikes.

Thanks for being the crash test dummie.

  2. That is another story. Lots of folks says it works no matter where you put it but that is not my experience. First I tired in my pocket, no luck at all. And a few others I know have the same problem. My bike is a cruiser, and above the headlight behind the windshield is a perfect angled chrome section that I stuck it to..it is angled perfectly through the windshield to hit the sensor. That did not work.

So I bought a mount to hold it. It is ok..it is a square chrome piece that bolts to the windshield frame and holds it real well behind the windshield. I mounted it on the right side of the bike..I drive the left track out of the oil and go real slow. Since doing that it has worked 100 percent of the time...well until today.

So what your saying is. I'm better off taking some change with me instead of my ez-pass when I ride either the wing or the cbr. Cause unless the stars all line up and there is a lephercaun waiting to open the gate it's not gonna happen. And then there is still a chance of getting wacked by the gate.

  3. Its funny the picture you paint about the wheelie. It was a small power wheelie coming out of a corner. Obvioulsy there was room in front of me to put the power down and lift the front wheel. I do have respect for other riders and group rides for sure. I've lead many of my own. I was eating during your Riders meeting. I have been on plenty of rides and know the " rules". It's not like I poped one up to the balance point in the middle of a tight pack next to everyone.

So please everyone get off their efffin soap box. If it was that big of a deal which it wasn't you should of came up to me and talked about. I would of said sorry and moved on.Not send your fearless (well he was shaking really bad) leader to try and be Tommy Tough Guy.

The pace was pretty slow for sure. I felt like I was doing the ride for kids again. But thats fine. Noone was looking to set the lap record around Cleveland. I do agree with the whole bouncing off the rev limiter at the Lizard. That was pretty stupid and amatuerish. It's embarrassing for sure when guys do that.

So next time we go out riding. Say Hi introduce yourself and lets ride.

And stop showing Euro Models on the CBR. Your dead wrong and look like the real RETARD trying to prove me wrong.

  4. The tard was in the middle of the first pack. We made a left from one road to another and the squid decided it would be cool pull a wheelie mid turn with his girlie on the back. The bike was at a 45 degree angle to the ground before he slammed it down. A bit to close to me for comfort. I have no doubt the boy could ride but there is a time and a place for everything and when your in tight quarters with others......that not the time.

Power wheelies out of corners are apparently too much.:rulez: Sorry for frightening you.

Yours truley Tard/ Squid/ Boy that can ride...HAHAHA

  5. , a jerkwad on a red fireblade trying some 1 wheel turns in the middle of the pack,

Actually they have been called Hurricanes again since 08. And never Fireblades in the states. Get over it. When you say middle! Do you mean the first of the last pack? Or the last of the first pack? ;)
