Go to the svrider.com forums and check it out. They have tons of information about suspension swaps. The most common is a late model GSXR swap, just do a search for "GSXR swap" and you should be able to find the article pretty easy. Another swap is with the 03-04 R6/06-09 R6s non-inverted forks. The GSXR forks require you to replace everything on the front end, where the R6 forks you use everything stock, but you machine out the triple clamps and handlebars to fit the slightly larger forks, and you need to buy a wheel spacer which someone on the site sells. It sounds scary but a good machine shop will be able to do it for you no problem. That how-to is also on the forum.
