  1. As far as tire pressures go I don't see a problem either I run mine at 41&43 most it's the time, it makes them wear slower. And I've never expected a full tank of fuel when I buy a bike :dunno:

That's a good point on the fuel, not expecting anything. I guess that's why I always coment about a full tank when making a purchase. As for over inflation though, aren't you worried about performance loss? I ride a R6 and it's my understanding is that over inflation can cause reduction of things like grip and lean angle when riding. Maybe this is true only for my style of ride?

  2. ...dont be a dick. It doesn't hurt you any to use your manners when dealing with customer service and it doesnt do anyone any good to make these people's day at work any shittier, you wouldnt want someone to come throw rocks at you while you're on the job. Pretty likely the person you speak with isn't even the one who fucked up.

Agreed. I like to "kill them with kindness" cause then the sales rep knows they can't just kick you out. Plus, it really does go a long way in most cases. Not saying this alwasy works but when it does...

  3. So I read this and I have to ask if this is a Network Engineer equvilant position? The listed duties make it sound like a one-man operation, or if it's anything like my office a skeleton crew that somehow makes things work with no real budget or support. I would really like more detail since I live in that area and am looking for a new job. Feel free to PM me if you like.

  4. I just do this naturally and if they don't like it then let them blow me off. It's not like my words are the end of the worls as we know it....someone already beat me to that.

I'm not entirely sure 'meaner' is the right word. Just more likely to express negative comments toward what others are saying or doing...

I follow a few healthy living blogs lately and one of them really got on my nerves yesterday. Amidst all the people stroking this womans ego, I commented that she sounded out of touch and entitled to me. Of course all of her followers jumped my ass about how I was rude and to just move along if I don't like it.

Good point and made me realize that I used to be so much nicer or at least follow the adage of 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'. I feel like the forums environment has brought it out in me: making snarky comments or letting people know if I think they're being stupid.

Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Maybe the participation in online communities just constantly reminds me how annoying and self serving people can be and I'm worn out of it. Time to put down the computer and get back to mother nature!

  5. Hi all. I've been riding for about 7 years, the last 4 on an '06 R6. I live near pataskala and mostly ride out east. I was told about this site last summer and finally got around to joining. Hopefully it will be beneficial for me finding new riders to get out with. I'll be sowly updating my profile and all that so pics will be coming, just be patient as I work on PCs all day and hardly get on mine at home any more. :metal:
