Ok like I said, I am about to enter the stupid question zone.... I bought a 98 Katana. The Clutch grabs sometimes, and sticks. I mean my left foot is just wasted. I was wondering if I can adjust the clutch, maybe the plates were not soaked in oil like they should have been? Or do I just need new plates? Any suggestions? For the sake of my left foot lol.

With the exception of my first bike every bike I have owned is under salvage title. I mean it doesnt take much to salvage them out. None the less it is a nice bike but 2500 is an awful lot. Not trying to sound mean but I think it is. The Salvage aspect will kill that for you for sure. Then again there is someone out there that would buy it for that.

Well heres the deal I dont have a van with candy but I do happen to have an ice cream truck with some ice cream. I found that it works better.... Game cube? Why not just break out the atari lol. Thanks for all the welcomes. I mean its cool. I like my bike but honestly I need something bigger and faster so that is soon to come.

Ok well my name is Mark. I have been riding for a few months now, so I am a newbie. Its all good though because it is a passion that I had and well now I found it. I have three kids, and am with a great friend of mine from high school. I have a few other friends that ride just dont know if they are on here or not but I will find out soon. I would like to attend the bike event at the Pig Iron BBQ so I will probably be there. So that is a little about me. Hope to become part of something great!!!
Sticking Clutches

Thanks for the replies... I took the clutch basket out and pryed the clutch rings away from the steelplates. The rings seemed to be in good shape but after putting them in, it shifts a lot better now but still jumbles up sometimes. I figure I need new plates but will try adjusting first. I just soaked the plates in oil. MOTORCYCLE oil lol. I have heard of ppl using car oil, but I only use motorcycle oil. However, I can not speak for the guy who sold it to me. I will also change the oil just because I dont know how long it has been. It was definitely an improvement though.
