  1. I just really want to know who rides that bike because I pass it every day

First welcome to the board, I know where you are abouts. I ride into and around Franklin and Lebanon area alot.

Gen3flygirl, to asnwer your question - if you pass it everyday sitting in the same place, good chance no one rides it, just a driveway icon. Kind of like the older guys with their $30K HD's in the garage. I could be wrong.

  2. Another update:

Where the dot is on the bend about 100 feet on the northbound side there is a pile of rocks about the length of a car right in the middle of the northbound lane (car tracks have cleared the sides but the middle is stacked about 4 inches high). Luckily I was going slow as I have not been on the road before, where if I was moving any faster I would have been sitting in some ones hillside. I will say this wasn't to much fun getting to this route. but for the 9 minutes on the road it was a blast, and a very very well spent lunch time.

sidenote: ricky racer might want to try to go fast but speed limit is okay for me (45-50 in most of the area, some 35MPH). Beautiful tree covered road and great little farms along the way. One looked like they had a nice crop of grapes for wine going....

  3. wow dayton sucks.

Referring to the city and the landscape around it yes it does. A buddy I rode with over the weekend has a great saying "have to ride and hour to to ride and hour". Which works out right. We rode down to south east Ohio about an hour away to ride around for an hour or so and then headed back. So yes as for our landscape around here it does suck.

As for me - as a person - I do not suck, I am the coolest person in my world.

  4. Added to it today. Really nice out, a little hot when I got a phone call I had to pull over to answer. Sitting there it started getting warm, but moving it was great. Around the pond it was a bit on the gravellly side and I did end up on a dirt drive at one point.

ran over my lunch time but it's friday and I don't think anyone cares.

  5. Been living in Indiana for a couple years and just moved back...now I'm looking for my next bike (M109R2 if I can find one!). Came across this site and was impressed with the following, so i thought I'd contribute!

Welcome. I too am a transplant from Indy. Thou I grew up here in Dayton, I moved here from Indianpolis about 4 years ago now. Again welcome.

  6. I live in Dayton, but we go to Columbus a lot as we (wife and I) lived over there for a while and still have friends. One place we go every and I mean every time we go over there is Local Roots in Powell : http://localrootspowell.com/

The wings are good, better then BW3's or Hooters and most any other chain place. They also have a crab dip I will absolutely commit crimes to get my hands on.

  7. good to see another triumph in the dayton area! looks like a good ride!

used to post up on Britrider but fell out there, have a few of the same games you guys play here. Good group of guys.

Wow right near where I live. Where in C'ville do you work?

I work off Franklin near the High School. I work for Dayton Wire Wheel. If you listen to Rap music in the 90's you should know who I work for.

  8. I'm in Kettering just off Dorothy near Moraine. Surprised I've never seen you out and about.

I have been over to Daddy katz a few times on Thrusdays, and my boss has a shop down in Moraine that we tend to hang around some nights. Easy to spot me in my lid for sure:

o jeeze lol i was kidding.

Ah the name: sorry at work, just a little slow lol.

  9. Hi neighbor, wanna cruise?

What part of town are you in. I tend to make a saturday run to Springfield, or just out and around Yellow Springs / Wilmington area if I don't have any family stuff going on. There is a or used to be (have been down there this year yet) a great little dinner in Wilmington right off 68 or thier used to be. Doing a fork spring swap this weekend so not really going to do much other then that. But ya, just give me a little heads up and I will go for a cruise any time that I can get away without issue.

  10. Ride to and from work as much as I can and out around Bellbrook to Xenia and to Waynesville during lunch. Tend to ride when it is nice but don't mind the rain in low traffic (stupid people get off your cell phones and pay attention).

Ol' School meets new 2008 Triumph Scrambler (was silver/orange) Gloss black. Building new wheels right now to run 110 front and 150 rear (stock 100/130 Trailwing) Going with Conti Trail attacks I hope.

Rode to Cleveland a few weeks ago, over to Indy to see friends. Make the Trip to Columbus (Polaris area) about once a month.

Married w/kid and work way more then I want to and don't ride as much as I would like. More of a cruising around and touring SW Ohio then sport riding, I will go for about anything and ride my own pace like we all should.

here are a few pictures so you can make fun of me now, thanks.
