I have Arai Corsair II. My friend gave it to me. He didn't use it and just sat in his basement. After cleaning all the spiders out it is a great helmet. I have clear and silver mirror shields.

You think so? Seems to be inline with the other similar bikes in my market. There are just so many bikes on CL. I posted it in the morning and by the evening it was on the second page already. It's a good time to buy it looks like.

Glad I found this thread. I have been thinking about this as I am trying to sell my first bike. When I bought the bike I didn’t have my endorsement and didn't ride it. I just looked at it and sat on it. I got a good feeling from the guy, he is actually a good friend now and he delivered it to my house. It stayed in the garage for about a week until I finished the MSF course and got my endorsement. Definitely seems like they need their endorsement to test ride. Not temps, that means nothing. Then from there it seems like the feeling you get from the person.

Now I am looking for a FZ6 or SV650. But don't know yet. Having trouble getting anyone interested in the Ninja. Craigslist is swamped with bikes right now. Good luck on the decision.

I have a 250 but I have just been riding for a few months. If you have been riding for awhile then I would suggest something bigger. The analogy to the Honda Rebel is accurate. They are great starter bikes, nothing better in my opinion but riders seem to out grow them fast. Also if you have highway riding to do on your commute then you will want something bigger a lot sonner. The ninja can do highways but there isn't much throttle left and it really gets blown around. However, if you want to buy I would like to sell mine.

yea maybe, I don't know if a girl or guy rides it. I will have to pay attention. I don't know if I would ever feel comfortable parking my bike on a side street in Cincy. A lot of risk of being stolen, vandalized or hit.

My 2008 Ninja 250r. Pretty much stock. Bought it with DIY fender elimination kit. I put on grip puppies and extra weight bar ends to help with the vibration in the grips.

Welcome to Southwest Ohio. No real good roads that I have been able to find. I have only been riding a few months. Some others to more south central OH to ride also. There are more experienced riders on here that should know better.

I really like the z750s. I really like the semi-naked look. A quick look around craigslist doesn't seem like there are many for sale out there.

I commute 30 minutes about half of that is I-75 into and out of Cincinnati. I wear full face helmet, fieldsheer congo mesh jacket, cortech dsx jeans with knee armor in, cortech injector gloves, shift fuel shoes, and backpack. I will need to get a warmer jacket eventually.

progrmr, seems we have the same taste in bikes or at least looking for the same thing. I have a ninja 250 now. I like to ride on the weekends but also commute during the week, 30 minutes, 15 on I-75 into and out of Cincinnati. I am looking for a bike with more power, wind protection but more of a standard/naked bike. I just added the Yamaha and Bandit to my list because of your thread. yea thanks for confirming that Butler county roads are set up like grid paper. That is what I thought when looking at google maps for roads to ride. Looks like I will have to travel east, south into northern KY or into south east IN.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a new rider from Liberty Township, OH. I have a black Ninja 250 that I am learning on. This bike is just fine now but I can tell that It won't last for long. I am looking for the curvy roads in Butler county. Can't seem to find any good ones if you have any suggestions please let me know. But it looks like I will have to travel to find fun roads to ride.
