and expect photo stops for the scenic vistas....especially if the beemer boys show up.
...And girls.
Sounds like fun. I'll try to round up some folks and count on NWO showing up.

23 stays completely in Kentucky. I forget the river name that separates Ky and WV.

Use the EZPass/IPass. Slap it in the tank bag map pocket and go. As far as Canada, well, a couple of years ago it would let you through the toll gates but didn't deduct anything because it wasn't recognized by their system. Being from the States they won't track you down but if you live in one of the provinces they will. Two years later and still haven't had any tickets show up at the house.
Jagr - I have one of those deals and was scoffed at but I'll tell you what... it damn sure is convenient.

Cleaned up a bunch of stuff.
Still smells like testosterone around here

Some of the stuff that pops in my mind amazes me sometimes. It really doesn't get anymore random. Like yesterday for instance... I'm tooling along the expressway and wondered.... If I had a double mastectomy would it be legal and socially acceptable to walk around shirtless... like a man. *shrugs*

All back roads with a series of random left and right turns. Lunch at some mom & pop or run-down bar.

I have two Shoei Multitech's and a Scorpion EXO-100.
The one Shoei is only two years old and seems to be getting a little noisier.
I putter around town in the Scorpion. I've had it on the E-way a few times but it gets sucked off my head. Plus, I just don't dig a half shell on the expressway.

Cool, seems you seldom find couples on the same board. My other half belongs to a couple but he's mostly a lurker.

Welcome to ORDN. Watch out for the
So what you're saying is I have to keep my eye on you. Duly noted. Don't make me shake my finger at you really hard.
Toledoish is an obscure suburb of Toledo.
That seems kinda catty, I assume you two have met.Nah, we've never met. But that's what I call a proper welcome.

Hey Y'all! Female rider in the Toledo area, been riding four years. My daily rider is a BMW R100R Mystic and I have a '67 BMW R60 /2. The /2 I acquired a couple months ago, all original, third owner with 25K on the clock. It's currently having some minor mechanical work done, like new shoes (yes, they're original), brakes and blood transfusions. My passion lies in vintage bikes and I have been "officially" nicknamed "Vintage Chick". Somewhere in the hills of Burkesville, Kentucky there's some scribbling on some tree bark that says so. But it smells of Knob Creek, so I'd be careful reading that... or not.
I'm a total mileage whore and believe 500 miles makes for a good days ride. I've been called hardcore, LOL, whatever that means. I like gearing up and going, seeing, doing. I'm a rally rat and love tent camping. I have a Kermit chair and Jetboil and know how to use them.
But enough about me...
Wind speed and riding?

I've done 30 mph winds. It is a common "thingy". Don't sweat it. Lean into the wind, keep your grip loose on the bars and let the bike do what it needs to do. By all means, don't white knuckle it. If it helps mentally, adjust your position within your lane. When I first started riding I had this fear of being pushed into a car in the lane next to me by a blast of wind. I would stay a little more to the right or left of my lane as an added cushion of space. I don't even know when I quit thinking about it.
