  1. Just got back from a family vacation to Florida and the further South I went the more often I saw gas stations with signs saying "No Ethanol in Our Gas"

I stopped and filled up my truck with the real, pure gas and I couldn't believe how much better it ran. Went from 19mpg to 22mpg on that tank full too. I'm wondering how much better my bike would run on some pure gasoline, but can't seem to find it locally.... anybody know of a station that has it?

    Thanks

    Bob

  2. Don't tint my windows except for what the factory installs, but restrictions on it are really BS. If they are worried about safety they should've picked a different job. Telling us we have to be visible to the world is a violation of our own privacy....

  3. www.gunlistings.org is a site that is kinda like the craigslist for guns. You can sort it by state, gun type and there is an option to show only private sellers or only dealers. All the postings have to have a city, so it's fairly easy to find something local.
  4. I appreciate the feedback. Having grown up around my dads garage and body shop there isn't much I would consider un-salvageable, but until recently I hadn't ever rebuilt a bike, just cars. I'm astonished at how little damage can "total" a bike.

  5. It's a cruiser. Rebuilt and looks better than new with a better than average paint job. I'm happy with the one I'm rebuilding because I couldn't afford the bike if I had to pay retail for it, but on the one I've come up with now, I'm just wondering if I could fix it and sell it for a profit...

  6. Hey all, I'm a newer rider up in the Powell, Ohio area (N side of Columbus) and I've got a question for everyone. How does having a salvage title affect a bikes value once it's been fixed? I'm currently working on one project bike as a keeper, but now have the opportunity to pick up another one... any thoughts would be welcome...
