  1. Mid-Ohio Track Event August 30 – September 1 with MVP Track Time

    Hi All:

MVP Track Time would like to invite you to our 2nd annual “MVP OH HI OH” August 30 – September 1, 2019 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. I hope you’ll join us for the on-track fun.

MVP’s goal remains the same since we began in 2006, offering you more actual track time at each event with value added entry fees. Our run group format of Novice, Intermediate and Advanced offers you maximum driving time (2 hours of scheduled daily track time) instead of standing around the paddock.

I'm waiting on confirmation of other plans for Aug 31-Sept 1. Will there be other bikes on the track? My F3's Spyder would lose on a push-shove match with a Novice in a car

  2. Folks -- with regret, we're cancelling the spring track day. With Anthony's medical situation and very low registrations so far (17), we just don't need the additional stress right now. We know it's disappointing, but we appreciate everyone's understanding.

We'll be issuing refunds as soon as I figure out how to do that... standby.

Heartbreaker--I already received the PayPal refund . Is a rescheduled drag strip track day a possibility? Get Well Anthony:)

  3. Brian & Chad did a terrific job of getting the Microtech Secondary fuel adjustment into the mid 11 A/F on the Velocity Stage 2 Turbo on my 2007 Busa.

Not that many dyno shops capable of tuning on the Microtech ECU boost system. Thanks again.

    Darrell

  4. Got a buddy on here that will be chiming in soon who has an RCC Stage 2 2008 Busa, he just went 225-227 in the Texas Mile.

That would put him at approx 200mph at the 1/2 mi mark. My top speed has been 195.77 mph at Maxton, NC when the valve seat melted from the aluminum head--using NOS. I'm looking for 210 mph until my confidence builds. I'd love to do Loring, Maine on the B-52 bomber runway-- 3 mi track but I'm not fond of long distance trailer pulls. Texas is over 1100 mi from Columbus--my back hurts just thinking about it.

  5. Thanks for info--Tues appt with Brian. Yes Engine is built, max 20lbs boost + water injection. C16 after 10lbs boost. My fav track is land speed racing- http://www.ecta-lsr.com in Wilmington OH just opened up last year. It's on one of DHL airfrieight airstrip since they move Hdqtrs back to Europe. !.9 mi strip. Timing lights 132' before end of mile with remainder for shutdown. US older guys get confused by the "tree" start thinkin about Christmas :-) LSR they just wave you to go. Whole race is only 132' long timed at end of mile.
  6. I have worked as a financial advisor & I currently have a financial advisor for persoanl executor reasons. I also invest on my own via http://www.vanguard.com . My comparison track record is close even money using Vanguard Balanced Mutual funds. Actually I still have a Vanguard Mutual investment I made 25 yrs ago & my % commissioned financial advisor who's performance history I know well also has picked same Vanguard Balanced Mutual fund as part of my portfolio. It's really hard to beat a "No load-low expense ratio" from a Mutual fund that has a 30 + yr history. Just my 2 cents worth. Scottrade is a broker, not an investment. Every investor has a different investment scenerio. Good luck!!
  7. They ran the mini thunder flat bottom boats on Alum Creek last summer. I'm not familiar with the classes. Several ran over 100 mph on a buoy approx 1/2 mi track in front of the main beach area.--one guy hit 140 mph . 1st time out on Alum Creek--they said they would be doing it again this year. Get that stroker running!

175 RWHP, OEM tires, using 4 gears , rider@190 lbs in track suit, in need of launch skillset :-) lower front sprocket won't hurt either.

  9. Wasn't me--haven't rode there since Fall but will be soon. What's needed for me to register for Friday's Nat'l Trails event?

I saw several Audi S-8's at http://www.topgunrun.com on Mar 14th airstrip just 50 miles from Miami. Lot's of big $$ cars running--Lambo's, F-40, Viper's, Porche Turbo's, Nissan Skylines. Myself--I was riding in a Toyotoa Corolla:-)
