  1. I highly doubt it would be the least of your worries, just saying.

I've hit the pavement at 60+(Cut off forced to lay down). Was lucky to not break anything save for the bike that got totaled. So yeah, the lost skin least of my worries. As it did grow back, my bike however did not.

  2. ^ great shot!! I couldn't imagine riding without leathers.

I don't own any leathers, and probably never will. I also don't consider myself an aggressive rider. I know I know its everyone else on the road I need to worry about. That being said I'll pass on heat stroke just for the sake of what might happen. I trust in my ability, and if another car is involved the lost skin is the least of my worries.

  3. I love how the ill informed like to chime in with their two-cents, and rag on State Unions when the have no friggin clue what has been going on. I myself am glad to see it got voted down. And for all the ones who think they know whats going on, here are a few facts for you.

#1 I've been a Corrections Officer for 8 years now. And per my contract I was to be toped out in pay after 5 years, that pay being $20.57 per hour. Yet here I am 8 years in and still 2 steps from that pay range.

#2 I pay 15% for my Health care, and its shitty healthcare I don't get to choose.

    #3 I pay 12% into my retirement.

#4 Last year I gave up a weeks worth of pay to "help" balance the budget for the state.

#5 I haven't even seen so much as a cost of living raise in 4 years, despite the ever growing cost of living expenses.

So you may want to check all the facts before you start to eat, and digest what these idiotic politicians are feeding you. Unless that is you enjoy being lied to, manipulated. and controlled to the benefit of all those that ruined the economy to begin with.

  4. I've taken this class. Shit was sooo easy. First day is all class work, then they give you a take home open book test. The next two days are when they put you on the bikes, all of which are 250's. It's hard to remember EVERYthing they showed us, its all pretty basic.

The "test" involves doing a figure 8 inside of a space about the size of a normal parking space. Then they have you do a quick bank to the right or left. After that it was the stop brake distance, and finish taking two slow corners.

That is pretty much it, and like I said you're on 250's, and they make it cake. During the riding test you can mess up once on each part, they'll have you redo it if you do. Oh and don't drop yo bike its an auto fail. The hardest thing for me was the figure 8. Trick to that is turning up the idle on the bike and just let it walk you through in idle =p

  5. Went for the very first time last summer, going again this July. Took roughly 6 hours to get to Pigeon Forge Tenn, where we stayed. Lots to see, and do there, plenty of restaurants. From there I think it was about a 30 min ride to the Dragon, maybe less I'm not too sure. I can't wait till we go back had a blast.

Oh and also about 3-4 days after you ride it hit up www.killboy.com, or www.us129photos.com and check out your pics!

  6. Well I'm a Corrections Officer and I work at a Prison in London. And to hear some of the talk on here about how State workers need to take pay cut's or get no wage increases... Fact is I haven't had a raise in 5 years, and yet the cost of living has went up, my insurance premiums have went up, the cost of fuel continues to rise etc...etc... So how can any of you sit there and say we don't do our part to reduce government spending???

Now don't get me wrong I agree some Unions are not doing their part. Brining them in line with with the rest of us is a fair deal. But fucking us all just to get to them isn't right.

And really if you think I'm over paid I invite you to walk a week in my shoes. And I hope you don't end up like one of my Fellow C.O's who is lying in a hospital bed in the ICU at Riverside with severe head injury's, and bleeding on the brain from getting jumped by a inmate. We serve, and protect the public in what we do as C.O's, and frankly if we get paid too much for dealing with the trash the law as deemed "Un-fit" for society, just keep em on the streets.

But that's the view of a Republican for you "Tax breaks for the wealthy" , "and yes I'm happy fucking over the middle class, cause I'm not one of them"
