  1. Hey guys,

I'm still fairly new to the area. I haven't run across any good dealerships/stores in my area yet. Went down to Cleveland Motorsports which should be renamed "Cleveland boat dealer with a-hole employees."

Need a place other than Autozone to buy oil, fluids, chain lube, maybe even some gear or other accessories.

    Who's good?

  2. ordered the raven today....16-18 week wait is crazy though.....not sure why its so long, i had my mtac in like a week....ill update with a review once i get it though and see if its all that tod makes it out to be lol

16-18 weeks is the time it takes us to build the 4000 other orders in front of yours. Each of our items are hand produced.

also, ill just leave this here for tom ;)

    From that link:

replacing the SIG P226 for personnel in certain roles.

We provide a lot of kit to NSW. I'll stand by my previous statements about what pistols they carry most often.

i hope that 16-18wks is an inflated "general" waiting time...guess we will see though....it better be worth the wait, or ill be disappointed after waiting 4.5 months

We offer a 30 day return policy and an unconditional lifetime warranty. Don't like it? Send it back. No harm no foul.

    Thanks for the order!

    Tom

  3. No worries guys, I just wanted to set the record straight for those watching this thread. I know you didn't mean any malice by it, but someone else who reads this and takes from it that our communication is lacking may tell his friends, who may tell his friends, etc.

We have to squash any internet drama quickly before it gets out of hand. This thread will eventually die, but somebody will find it on a google search sometime in the future and I just want all the info out there.

Case closed as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the heads up Afro-Tod.

  4. What do the seals and secret service use? I have heard many people say they use (insert brand here) Anyone here have proof as to what any of them use?

It changes based on team/mission/etc. As a default, Secret Service uses 229's and SEALS use 226's.

  5. Two things:

    1)

and they havent responded to my emails

You sent your email to RCS 11:13am on May 9th. This thread was posted at 8pm that evening. While technically correct that we hadn't yet responded to your email, your post gives the impression to the public that you're being ignored. Considering there were only 6 business hours available for us to send a reply before your post here, I think we're still well within a reasonable time frame to get back to you, the customer.

Your post also says "emails," but only one email was sent.

To answer your question, yes we can build for the P2000 and C5L. The information on the product description is old info that hasn't been updated since we added the C5L to our product line. I apologize for the confusion.

    Any further questions, please ask.

    2)

I disagree and so does the secret service and us navy seals(sic)...

Secret Service and the SEALS use Sigs, not HK's. :p

  6. To me there's no other handgun that symbolizes america better than a 1911, its history is a subject I'm very proud of. I would like one that is all stainless, not looking to spend over a grand though

I can respect that, but are you shopping for a historic symbol/family heirloom, or the best tool to possibly defend your life with one day in a dark alley when you're beaten and bloody?

The two very rarely go together.

  7. The 5" gun will not be any more accurate in a practical sense than the 5." Each are more accurate than 99% of humans. Barrel length has little, if anything, to do with accuracy.

Short 1911's typically don't run well at all. If you're shopping production pistols, I'd go at least 4.25" barrel length, and stay away from Kimber. Springfield, Colt, and S&W would be my choices.

That said, the 1911 makes little sense for most concealed carry use. Is there something drawing you to that platform? There are other options that will probably suit you a lot better.

  8. The more shit I get about stupid stuff I say from you means the longer and faster you're going to have to ride without stopping to eat when we finally get out for a ride. If it's bad enough I'll leave you in West Virginia and tell them you're from Michigan so they will have their way with you.

From the guy who asked me today how the KLR seat was on a ride from Cleveland to Battle Creek and back....please. I can puts on the milez....

West Virginian's speak Glock 9mm pretty well. I ain't skeerd....

  9. I've been warned before coming here, but I'm brave.

I may or may not know a Black Tod (who only uses one D???)

I may or may not own a dual sport (Don't hate me...)

I may or may not have been a member of Detroit Sport Bikes in the past.....

I may or may not work for a holster company (I hope my first post doesn't get me an infraction.....)

I have seen the Asian Afro....and I'm gonna chop that thing off with a set of hedge clippers next time!
