  10. buying a BRAND new car is just about pointless imo. drive it off the lot and there gose thosuands. let someone else take that hit and talk him into a lease turned in early. this is how we found our escape. and we saved 8k

  12. now 5 lug swap is almost done. only thing left to do its put the drums back together and new hard lines on top of axle. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap075.jpg http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap076.jpg http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap077.jpg
  13. thanks. little by little. i really want to get to trails before they close to see how the 3.73's do. but im pretty sure there closed now? same with 42? unless there still open. hell idk. tomm im going to finish the underside of car. get the rear in. go get what i need to do the breaks. bend to hard lines. then im sure the drum brakes will take be the better part of the day ( i hate drums)...well Wensenday i got to go meet with my lawyer. so not sure if ill get any work done that day or not. hopefully Saturday i will have it ALL done. the tires mounted on the wheels and such. can i get the speedo gear at the dealership? or are they going to rape me on price? LMR sells them for 1.99. dealership be around that?
  14. id appericate it. the bender i have sucks!
  15. yeah. and the hard lines on the axles. id rather just buy this from someone on here if they have them. i really dont feel like sitting out there and bending brake lines becasue im horrible at it.
  16. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap068.jpg i keep breaking shit so this is take 20 times longer then it should.
  17. not so much the break lines. i can bend and flare if needed to a new line. but i need the i dont even know what its called bit its the 2 into 1 on a stocl 5.0 8.8 here is a pic.. my fitings are frozen in it and heat poped it so it no good now pic. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap054.jpg
  18. well i need to track down some new lower controlling arm bolts. went to napa..nothing..ford. guy didnt even know what i was talking about with "lower controlling arm hardware" dumb people..lol. any idea where i can look? i was thinking hardware store. on the bolt it says 10.9..but these are metric? so as long as i get a 8 up grade bolt then i would be fine right? so in mean time i cleaned it up some... http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap059.jpg http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap060.jpg added the fulid/friction modifer and got the diff cover on. now if i could find my 11MM open end wrench i would put the brake lines on the new rear end but it missing in action at the moment. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap061.jpg

  20. and yeah andy.. the axles are here and out for ya.
  21. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap056.jpg http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap055.jpg http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap045.jpg
  22. 245's for now. car will pretty much sit all winter. i really wanna do the man peddle mod this winter too. but we'll see. i need to go to the dealership and get the correct speedo gear.
  23. i made a mistake...there 235/45/17 but yeah there for the front. 245/45/17 for the back. 245/45/17 fit perfect in the front. when i got to do tires in spring or something i wonder if 265/45/17 with fit in rear then 245/45/17 up front. ok. i gave the bolt hell with the BFSH. and lower controlling arm came right out...i hate drums..and im not looking forward to putting them back together lol. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/5lugswap054.jpg
