  1. the HP numbers definitely aren't there, but they're torquey as fuck. Factory rated at 270 lb ft but Rally Sport Direct (among others) claim their stock cars dyno'd at 280-290 lb ft.

OP I have a V2 accessport I might consider selling... PM me if you want to meet up some time to feel the difference.

Where are you located? I would love to feel the difference a tune makes.

  2. I've read that the FMIC on the Fiesta was a much better pairing for the engine and size of the car where as the Focus FMIC is just way too small, it heat soaks almost instantly, and it's noticeable. So my mods were more just for reliability/consistency really.

Getting my commission from a big order just in time for some Labor Day sales definitely helped though too haha.

  3. Yeah, I've been hearing the Fiestas are tough to find right now. There was a Green Envy one for months near me that I finally decided to go test drive and they happened to just get in one in Molten Orange, fell in love with the color and really liked how it drives. They had to locate mine though as I wanted Recaro seats withOUT the moonroof which is tough to find as most have them packaged together. I preferred not to have Navi but at that point I would have had to order one and the wait is around 7mos....

Those are the same options I wanted as well. I couldn't find a single FiST to test drive so I didn't want to take a chance ordering it and then not being able to fit since I'm 6'3". I had to go to Indiana just to get my Focus with Recaros but without a moonroof.

I completely agree, there is no power after 5500rpm so I try not to rev passed there. The torque is definitely what makes these cars so fun in stock form though.

Thank you for the offer on the AP but I'm spent for a while from the Labor Day sales haha. Just installed my OCC & RMM last night, and waiting for my FMIC to be delivered so I can install it, these hot humid days are killing my fun.

  4. Oh that's right, yeah I think I spoke to him some for a bit when I moved to Dayton but nothing since.

That was the most insane night. Hilarious watching a police helicopter lighting up a little cavalier for having red neons though.

Thanks for the props guys. I'm all about rwd, but this little ST sure puts a smile on my face for the commute.

  5. LOL, love the responses. I expect nothing less from CR. Don't think I would have found time to even take a pic if I was picking up an Aventador though.

I already have ordered an oil catch can, cp-e stg2 RMM, symposer delete, and a Steed FMIC. Mainly just reliability stuff and will probably be a while before I do anything else to it. Even though that is the plan, I will probably end up with a tuner for Christmas haha.

I started off shopping for a Fiesta ST but could not find one anywhere with the options I wanted. I couldn't even find one nearby to test drive. I did find a Focus ST to test drive though and loved it, so I picked up one in Indiana that had the exact options I wanted. Tuxedo Black, with Storm Grey partial leather Recaros and no moonroof.

  6. I vote for Ridgeline as well. I'm actually selling an '03 540i and as beautiful, luxurious, and fun as they are, I will never own a newer'ish (2000+) BMW again that is out of warranty. At least as my primary transportation. Even though you can fix it yourself, you DO NOT want it as your Daily Driver. You will almost ALWAYS have something to fix on it. I thought the exact same thing and always had to work on it. I already have a '95 M3 that is a project car for fun. I didn't need a daily driver that was a project as well. Just because you can afford it and can work on it yourself, doesn't mean you should.

So if you still have the chance, I recommend rethinking it. Otherwise you will be spending your time fixing it rather than spending time with your new family.

  7. Picked up my new Daily Driver on Aug. 22nd and already have 650 miles on it.

A '14 Focus ST. Not exactly fast, but sure is a blast to drive for a DD. It's an ST2 with the partial leather Recaros and no moonroof.

Mainly posting this as I've seen other people posting on focusst.org that are saying they are on here. Haven't been on CR nearly as much as I originally was back in the day due to moving out of Cbus and general life/family stuff. So Hello again. For those with a VERY good memory, used to be Matt_97GPGT > Saint > BeyondAddiction.

This is currently the only picture I have

  8. Yes! Had to be Mark, was going to mess with him then recognised him from back in the day. Started yelling out my window on the highway, pretty sure he thought I was crazy lol.

Hey Anthony, I see your stable has grown and still driving that bird of yours. Looking to get into an LS car for my next toy. These small displacement motors, boosted or not, just aren't nearly as much fun as a V8.

  9. Saw it going down I71 in Cinci. Its been about 10 years since last spotted a wingless white mkIV Supra which looked like one of the people from on here in '01~'02 from here back in the days of hanging out at Steak n Shake til the sun came up with Mr. Forky.

It's been so long I can only remember a few names, but mine is Matt aka Saint/Matt_97GPGT on here back then, used to have a black grand prix that I would follow around all the fast cars in if I wasn't riding along. Just thought I would post up after such a blast from the past to see who all may still be active on here.

  10. Wow, yeah that has been gone a while. I see you got an SVO now, that's awsome! love those 2.3T's. no more interceptor as well I take it.

I've been busy trying all kinds of things, in and out of school, did some electrical apprentice work for a year, and now I'm back in school for a degree in finance and it's something I like finally, have been back in for a year now and going strong so I think I finally found my niche. Should have a BA in 2 years.

Just started a new quarter so trying to figure out a good time I can come up to cbus to visit for a weekend. still got a few things I need to fix on the M3 before hand because I know when I come up it will be ran pretty hard lol. but will be soon. do you still have the same number? I've got it in my phone still but, it has been a while.

  11. When I first moved to columbus, the first year sucked because everyone I met was through school and tended to all be jerk offs, then I found CR and until I had to move back to dayton it was great, even though I don't get to really talk or hang out with anybody I met since, it has been one of the most fun years of my life so far, I miss it a lot. I do still consider a lot of you guys friends.
  12. Joke or no, I gotta agree here:

ditto, there realy can't be that much R&D left in that series with how much it's regulated, and shouldn't be spending the money on that series while getting bail-out money that we are all paying for. and I don't think the win on sunday sell on monday works anymore, how much nationally publicised racing is Honda in? I think they sell a few cars without it.
