  1. Hey kids, yeah it's really me. Casper hit me up the other day, checking to see if I was still alive and all. I can't make it again this year, big projects going on at house. Girlfriend will skin my ass if I ducked out for the weekend. New Life, new house lots of shit to do. A few of my boys will be down tomorrow. MPG will be represented, lol. I'll try and make a ride or two this year. Y'ALL ride safe and drink irresponsibly. Someone grab ass on those two hot little brunettes that come with the FZ1 group and tell em daddy misses them. ha-ha

    On your Daytona's?

Don't do it until Dan makes a run through there and reports what conditions are like.  I accidentally went across there years ago one spring on my 750 shadow. I have no idea how I made it or why I am still alive. Its very much straight up at the beginning, mud everywhere and ruts that made my foot pegs drag on each side.  Then on the way down the trail crosses a river like six times.  The riverbed at the crossings is cement, covered with an inch of moss.  You have to keep your boots down and let them slide so you don't wipe out.

All depends on the weather and how much rain has been there in previous weeks.  And also how many years it has been since the road crews went through and did some scraping.

Did it on the FZ1 once, wouldn't recommend it. Street tires and 135 rwhp not a good combo climbing out of those creek beds.

I am planing on attending with my V-Storm 1000. Since it is normally cold and wet in tellico, TN. I will most likely trailer down with plenty of gear and dry stuff and a bad ass propane heater. Must be home by the 4th.

We'll do the Cherokee Challenge, its a safer bet, those single tracks are too muddy and jacked up that time of year. Assuming your camping ? Some of us are, some not. I'll try and get my usual spot on the left just past the creek crossing.

  5. I got out of the H-D scene because I really tried getting involved with Motorcycle Ministry, but because of my ... profession (LE) ... a lot of the clubs we rode with wanted nothing to do with me.

Blame SOA everyone with a HD think they're Opey
