  8. Opinions on emergency tire repair kits

    I have seen these little repair kits that include the plugs and the little Co2 cartridges. Seems like a good idea especially if your out in BFE and run over something. I guess the biggest question is how well the Co2 inflates the tire back up until you could get to gas station ect. Any experiences?

    Turtle wax liquid Ice! It can be put on any part of bike. makes paint shiney and slick and also works on black plastic. No need to worry about paste or white residue on black and in cracks.

    I use Shell Rotella T6 Synthetic w/ factory filter. If it makes you sleep better in your bed at night, because your oil bottle has a photo of a bike on it, go for it. All you're doing, is wasting money. I never heard of anyone blowing up their engine, using Rotella in their bike.

    I will second that!! Rotella T6 and Kawi filter :D

    This is the stupidest thing I have heard in awhile. It pisses me off really. At the age of 3 my Dad sat me on the tank of his Kz1000 all the time for rides. Im not talking to the end of the road and back either. We would take rides that lasted most of the day on weekends. This was not only fun for me as a little boy it also taught me and helped me develope a feel for riding at a young age. Aound that same time is when I started riding a little Kawasaki kv75 on my own in the back fields. I will say the time I spent with my sitting on the tank riding with my Dad made me a better rider when I was able to go out on my own. I had experiance all of the differant aspects and feels for riding and it made me feel more natural,comfortable and safer when I did get my license. I would rather had it that way. Ive seen alot of people with no riding experience buy a motorcycle because its cool and dont have a clue. I wont let this happen to my boy. I would rather him have some of the same experience I did rather than him go get a bike at 16 not know what he is doing and kill himself on it....

    Ok I'm looking at some tire warmers and a genny, what size generators would work looking at just running tire warmers and a small fan. My work sells generators and I get them at cost. They are honeywell.

    I can say out of experiance of having a 5500 watt Generac and a little 2000 watt Honda generator. I take both of these with me when im racing(cars). The honda will run lights in trailer and also run battery charger to charge battery on racecar between races easily. The honda is a awesome generator and is very quite(used 95% of time). It sips gas and isnt annoying like alot of generators that sound like a lawn mower sitting there at full throttle driving you ape shit. It actually has a mode on it that only revs motor according to the electrical demand. even at wide open throttle you can have normal tone convesation with it sitting right beside you. Just my 2 cents.

    being paralyzed shouldn't affect his erectile capabilities... it's not a muscle like you would think. it's not voluntary either in the first place when you get a woody. it's just a valve like thing slowing blood flow out, so it gets pumped up with blood. so when hot nurse betty walks in, he could have possibly accidentally popped it up anyway.

    Really? I didnt know that. I always though mine had a bone in it......like a tusk off an elephant!:confused:
